Das 402 PH befindet sich in der Nähe des Strandzugangs und des besten Meerblicks von den geräumigen Schlafzimmern, dem Essbereich, dem komfortablen Wohnzimmer und dem geräumigen Balkon. Sie werden diesen Ort lieben, da er sich in der Nähe der berühmten 5th Avenue befindet und Geschäfte und Restaurants zu Fuß erreichen lassen. Das blaue Wasser von Coco Beach ist nur 100 m entfernt, der Golfplatz von Gran Coral ist nur wenige Minuten entfernt. Mein Platz ist gut für Paare, Alleinreisende und Familien (mit Kindern).

Read before you book! Not as advertised and dirty
Would not stay here again, here's why: 1 - Not as advertised in terms of occupancy. Clearly says that it sleeps 6. Not true There is a king bed, a somewhat rickety bunk bed, and a stained, dirty sofa bed. This would be enough for 6 people but the owners do not provide enough linens. The top bunk had no cover, only a top sheet. There were absolutely no linens for the sofa bed. We reached out to the property manager (who seemed nice but was not helpful). She said "that is all that the owners provide." So we ended up purchasing bedding for our 4 day stay - no choice if we wanted enough places for our 3 young adult children to sleep.2 - Dirty (couch stained, smelly, floor filthy) 3 - They are clear that they do not restock paper products, fine, but they did not provide nearly enough for 6 people even for a couple of nights - one trash bag, 2 rolls of toilet paper and no paper towels. We reached out about this as well and were told the same - "that is all that the owners provide."The neighborhood is mixed - some very "open air" structures right across the street and next door, which did not bother us but I could see being off putting.There were positives - the outdoor spaces - patio, pool upstairs, etc - were nice. The beach proximity is also very nice. However, I would not stay here again for the reasons listed above. There are so many places to stay in Playa Del Carmen - avoid this one!

Beautiful place, great location to three beaches!
We had a wonderful stay at this condo!! The place was exceptionally clean with beautiful views from the entire unit overlooking the ocean and Cozumel. Both bedrooms were spacious with very comfortable mattresses. The kitchen is well equipped and lots of space in the dining and living room. As a surprise to us, there were beach towels, two beach chairs and two umbrellas which were great for the beach. There is a beautiful deck which wraps around the entire unit with a spacious patio with comfortable furniture. The location is amazing - away from the business of Centro, but still very easy to get a cab (they are everywhere and only 100 pesos to get to the centre). Lots of locals around and we felt very safe even late in the evening. The rooftop pool and patio were also wonderful, very clean and well maintained. There are 3 beaches in close walking distance - all Blue Flag beaches so they are environmentally protected and gentle with no rips. Playa 88 is 100m from the unit which is very clean and has bathrooms and showers (5 pesos for the showers) while the other two beaches only have washrooms. Lots of great restaurants nearby - with affordable meals - and shops for basic groceries (much cheaper than Walmart). Sybil, the host is amazing! very helpful and responsive. We would absolutely stay here again. And it’s great value for all you get. Thanks for a wonderful stay!

Very comfortable, bright, spacious suite. Close access to lovely rooftop patio that we enjoyed just about every day of our week stay. Bit of a walk to main part of 5th avenue but very nice safe walk. Bike rental place nearby that we took advantage of. We enjoyed our stay very much. Very relaxing.

Great value
The apartment was very spacious for our family of 4 and we enjoyed the comfortable beds, quality materials, modern equipment, tasteful decoration, furnished balcony, and the proximity of a beautiful public beach (Punta Esmeralda). There is a choice of breakfast venues nearby (we tried Sunrise Coffee and La 88, both were great) and we walked to the touristic part of PdC via Quinta Avenida (pedestrians and bikes only), which was nice. There are cool murals everywhere! We felt safe in the apartment, thanks to the locked building gate, but the neighborhood felt sketchy, especially at night. The modern residence looks like an oddball among otherwise decrepit buildings. We arrived late in the evening, and if my husband wasn't with me, I wouldn't have ventured outside to look for food (we ended up finding an open street taqueria 17 blocks away, at Calle 54). So, location had its pros and cons. Communication with owner was great. The kids shower had decent pressure, the master bedroom shower less so.

Wonderful apartment
A beautifully decorated, well equipped, perfectly located apartment. The balcony with its comfortable seating was very special. Excellent views. Very close to the beach. However, one must take into consideration that it is on the 4th floor without an elevator. The wifi did not extend to the main bedroom which was a little inconvenient for us. The second bedroom does not have a fan, nor can the door be opened so you have to use the AC. For long term stays consider the extra cost of electricity and cleaning. Yet it was a wonderful stay there.

Amazing Views, Peaceful and Spacious
The accommodation was lovely! The views were wonderful, the pictures don't do it justice! The space itself also was much bigger than the pictures made it look. There are a lot of utensils and equipment in the apartment, probably the most we've had in all our travels. As we stayed 5 weeks we had to pay electricity which wasn't as expensive as we were expecting, that's with using the A.C every night too. Our time here was during a quieter period, so the rooftop pool was private to just us for the majority of the time. Sybil communicated very well with us and responded out of hours if we had an issue. You are a 15 - 20min walk away from the start of the main town of Playa Del Carmen, but this was perfect for us wanting to have the quiet. The local beach was also perfect!

Nous avons l’habitude de louer des apts en voyage : mais cette fois-ci absolument exceptionnel! L’apt est parfait: lumineux, très très bien aéré et ventilé car face à la mer et au 4 e étage (50 marches à monter !) nous n’avons pas eu besoin de la climatisation! Avons séjourné 9 semaines: cuisine très très bien équipée, très propre, spacieux ! Ils fournissent tout pour la plage : chaises, serviettes, parasols ! A 100 m de la célèbre 5 e Ave piétonne, à 2-3 km du centro, à 100 m de la plus belle plage publique Playa 88 Le soutien par Sybil, manager du bloc est essentiel et excellent Il faut quand même dire que ce bloc fort bien localisé est dans un quartier populaire , pas commercial, pas touristique mais sécuritaire Je vous le recommande

Clean, bright, comfortable, close to the beach!
The property looks just as pictured. It is clean, has a beautiful view, and well stocked kitchen. The patio area in front is spacious with comfortable outdoor furniture. The king size bed was the only one we used; it was firm, which is our preference. After we learned that we could get a breeze coming through the unit from the back bedroom to the front patio doors, we rarely had to use the air conditioning. Checking in was easy and Sybil, the property manager, was quick to respond to our questions and needs. We were pleasantly surprised to find two beach chairs and an umbrella. A nice public beach is just about a 3 block walk along a nice paved path. One thing to note is that this condo is on the fourth floor, and there is no elevator, so be prepared to climb three flights of stairs. We were aware of this, but talked to others staying in the building who were not. The pool area on the roof is also very nice, but small. However, it was never crowded when we went up there. We stayed 4 weeks, from mid-January to mid-February, and had only two days of rain. Most days were in the 80's. A very nice, relaxing getaway!

Excelente propiedad, ubicación y trato humano.
La propiedad es muy amplia, cómoda y cuenta con todo lo necesario para una estadía super confortable como la nuestra que fue de 34 días. La administradora de la propiedad, Sybil, fue en todo momento muy cordial y super atenta a cualquier inquietud. Tal es así que ante cualquier consulta, a los pocos minutos nos estaba golpeando la puerta Carolina, Alejandro, Tere o cualquiera de los chicos que asisten el edificio para responder y/o brindar un rápida respuesta. A pocos metros del edificio se encuentra uno de los pocos accesos a la playa pública, que según nuestra experiencia, es el más cómodo de Playa del Carmen. Absolutamente recomendable y sin dudas volvería.

Beautiful condo, amazing views
This bright, sunny condo is located outside the busy tourist zone of Playa del Carmen. Everything was well cared for and the staff were accessible and very attentive. The views from the patio and rooftop can't be beat. We enjoyed the residential aspect of the neighbourhood, especially the amazing local barbecue restaurant right around the corner. The pros: - Dulce, our concierge, was super helpful with all arrangements - recommending a personal chef for a lovely New Year's Dinner, a driver for day trips and lots of other advice and information both before and during our stay - rooftop pool with amazing views. - the nearby Blue Flag beach is accessible (300 m), not as busy as the beaches closer to downtown - nearby restaurants and 'tiendas' all within a few blocks: Oxxo, fruits/vegetables, pharmacy. Good breakfasts and coffee at the hotel next door and amazing barbecue at Pollo Patzcauro around the corner - short walk to 30th has more supermarkets and shops for basic necessities - the condo is spacious, with comfortable beds and views from each room. It is well stocked, very clean, has good internet and a washer dryer. We made smoothies and even had a juicer to make fresh orange juice (until we realized we could buy the juice directly from the fruit stand!) - we were able to rent snorkel gear directly from the building for a fair price Cons or rather 'things to keep in mind': - this place is quite far away from the action of 5th! - the walk to 'busier' Playa is about 20 minutes along a quiet pedestrian path (actually 5th ave.). Not recommended late at night. We would usually walk down to where 5th ave starts to get a bit busier after dinner and cab back for about 40-60 pesos. Getting cabs was never an issue - it's always cheaper if you walk a few blocks away from busiest tourist zones to catch one. - It is generally a very quiet neighbourhood, but there were many times at night where nearby barking dogs and crowing roosters made it difficult to enjoy the quiet from the patio (especially late at night, when it is otherwise very quiet). - Sometimes a neighbouring house would play 'music' at unreasonably loud levels, but these irritations were relatively infrequent over the course of the week that we spent there. - Our first night there was ruined by loud partying that took place on the patio next door. The sound between the patios carries and this can be an issue if you're unlucky enough to have a bad neighbour. - pool & deck is very 'cozy'
