Central air con on all night, room freezing cold. Asked staff to come have a look and turn off AC but she said she had no idea. Terrible experience. Worst worst and worst experience. Need refund.

Was a great place to stay. Unfortunately our air conditioner wasn’t working properly and was a very hot weekend so made the night uncomfortable to sleep. Otherwise everything else was great and would recommend staying there.

Comfortable room in the Hunter
A very comfortable stay. Rooms are very tired and mattresses will need replacing soon. Furniture is old and veneer is peeling. Rooms have a lovely outlook.

Lovely place to stay, friendly staff very accomodating, good food we had breakfast in the bistro awesome pancakes my husband had big breakfast. beautiful grounds and scenery. Feel like you’re on holidays, kids had a great time in the pool, there’s a big pool for older kids and smaller pool joined for toddlers. Really nice place for families to stay it’s quiet, beautiful gardens serene setting to relax and just be. Will come back here again! Very close to Hunter Valley gardens we came for the Christmas lights.

We felt that only one hook in bathroom for towels was inadequate.... a comfortable chair in the room would have been nice......plenty of room for one! We left one day early due to prediction of local flooding expected in our home town. Because I gave 3 days notice of this i would have liked a refund or part refund!!!

To have to walk from the Mercure to pick the room key up 700 meters away is ridiculous. Blame in on staff shortages. It’s been like that since Xmas 23. I call BS. This is the worst service possible. Definitely will not be recommending this to any of my interstate and OS visitors.

We did enjoy the pub and restaurants zt the venue, the staff thrre were very nice. The check in was at a neighbouring hotel which was a bit odd. But still easy. We had 2 rooms, one was average the 2nd room was smelly,like vomit and the shower screen was broken.

Nice stay at the Harrigan's Pub.
We stayed for 2 nights and it was very comfortable. The bed was big and very good. We had a very good view at the back and nice to sit there for a drink. The furniture could be a bit upgraded but was ok. Very nice breakfast every morning and one night we had a meal at the pub. And that was quite good although a bit pricey for what it was. We enjoyed our stay very much. Probably come back another time.

Rooms were basic, cheap and a good location, however the service provided within Harrigans Pub was absolutely appaling. If you are looking for a cheap room and have no intentions of good service then Harrigans is great, however buyer beware if you want to consider a meal and a few drinks.

We travelled on motorbikes in the pouring raim and arrived to beautiful warm showers and help woth drying our soaled clothing. Delicious dinner abd drinks on site. A perfect getaway and such a comfortable bed!!

The room was spacious and l loved the little patio. The only thing with that was that someone was smoking in the next door patio and the smoke came in my room. My king size bed was the most uncomfortable I've ever slept in. The 2 single beds pushed together didn't match properly and also sank in. I ended up sleeping in the single bed. I would stay again but I'd check the bed situation first

Great place, good meals, room was big and had what we needed. It was dated and needed some maintenance, there was a gap in a panel of the door, a piece of tape was on half of it, so still see daylight. The sliding door to the back patio needs work, it was so hard to open and the outdoir setting neded a good clean

We enjoyed our stay. Had a lovely meal and drink at happy hour. It is a lovely place and in a good position. My only concern was the tiles on the floor and shower were a bit aged and felt a bit grotty. Would I stay here again, yes, good value for money. Comfy bed and staff are lovely.
