I rented the patio villa option for a girls weekend with a friend in Portland, and we had a great time staying here! The Villa option gave each of us a separate space to rest and sleep, and also a shared patio space for chatting in the evening and having coffee and making plans for the day. Highlights, in order, would be:
1. The host - Scott was a warm and welcoming host, helpful and kind. He gave me lots of great local suggestions for food and shops and sights, and he also showed me how I could walk to 3 fun neighborhoods right from the front steps (Alberta Arts, Williams, and Piedmont).
2. The location - convenient to get downtown in about 10 minutes/$12 via Uber, but mostly we walked to so many awesome restaurants and boutiques and bars! I was alone for the last 2 days after my friend went home, and I felt very safe on my own.
3. The decor - The inside of the spaces are clean and the decor is fun and bright. It reminds me of a tiny house concept with the way Scott has used all of the spaces.
4. The beds - The beds are both very comfortable, and although it was an unusually hot weekend, both units are air-conditioned for cozy sleeping. It is a quiet neighborhood, too.
5. The patio area - Scott has patio furniture and cafe tables, with lights and lovely stonework.
This place is a special spot to stay!
