A great stay in the city

This hotel was a great find for me. For my first time staying there, I really enjoyed the hotel and the room I had. It was clean with a great view of the city. Within a couple of blocks to Powell’s Books and some great restaurants, it made it easy for me to get to places. This is a great hotel with nice hotel staff. Definitely recommend it and it’s a place that I will come back to when I come to Portland.

We always stay at the Dossier when traveling through Portland. It’s walkable to a number of great bars and restaurants, the in-hotel bar and restaurant are fantastic, and the rooms are clean and very nice.

Lovely location. It's sad to see that the city of Portland has changed so much in the last years since my last visit. The need for security guards, the cost of food way up. If I had a suggestion it would be to have a greater variety of menu choices at your hotel restaurant.

I've stayed at the Dossier numerous times for business trips. The staff is always professional and fun, and the rooms are very comfortable. I especially like the large bathrooms with good lighting. And the apples in the lobby for a daily fruit fix.

My only complaint is the lack of a self-park option. The valets did a great job, but I'd rather do it myself. Otherwise it was a terrific place to stay.
