We recently stayed at this apartment and found both positives and significant issues.
On the plus side, the apartment is beautifully decorated and offers a stunning view from one of the bedrooms. If you're driving, parking is tight but manageable.
However, there were major concerns regarding the water supply. The water pressure throughout the property is extremely low, making it impossible for more than one person to use the bathroom facilities at the same time. Flushing a toilet disrupts the water supply to the sinks and showers in all bathrooms, effectively rendering them unusable simultaneously. One of the bathrooms had no hot water at all; turning the lever to the hot position resulted in the water completely shutting off, leaving only cold water available in any other setting. This situation made it impractical for multiple people to use the bathrooms as intended so it made it pointless for us to have a 3 bathroom apartment, but only being able to use 1 bathroom at a time.
Despite our understanding that Porto is an old city, these water issues should have been clearly disclosed in the listing. Using the toilet meant no water for washing hands or showering—this was highly problematic, especially when you have multiple people staying in one apartment. By the second day unpleasant sewer odors began coming out of the hallway bathroom and seeping into the living area.
While the apartment has aesthetic appeal the water issues greatly impacted our stay.
