Having grown up in Pottsville and making regular visits back to town over the past 30 years since living out of state, this is the best place we have stayed to date, thank you!. Compared to where we stayed during our last Pottsville visit (Maid's Quarter), Loftsville is 10-fold better. Plenty of space (guests have entire townhouse), quiet, great parking, in the heart of downtown with ease of walking everywhere with good restaurant nearby. We waked to dinner within 2 blocks all three nights, which was great. Only two potential drawbacks. The first is the limited A/C on the top floor. The temperature was in the low 80's during our visit and the A/C struggled to cool off adequately. I suspect on hotter days, which Pottsville does experience at times in the summer months, it would be uncomfortable. I would urge a larger A/C BTU unit be installed for the 3rd floor (note: there is not central air in the townhouse, but rather a window unit on the second floor and one on the third). The second, much smaller concern, is that the shower is very small. I'm of average height and weight and it was tight for me. Overall, I would definitely stay again, but would probably not risk staying during the summer months on our next visit in case it's during a period when it's hot and humid.
