This property is extremely beautiful with unbelievable views of the ocean, local fauna, and sunsets every evening! We wish we had stayed in the summer so we could have played in the water and enjoyed the beach more. That being said, during our mid-September stay, every morning we were privileged with the view of a pod of dolphins right outside the cabin windows, countless birds, and some of the biggest bumblebees we’ve ever seen flitting around the garden of gorgeous flowers that the owners cultivated. Due to it being late winter/early spring in Chile the area and cabin was somewhat cold but accommodations solved that. The owners were consistently receptive to our needs, readily available when needed - going so far to come out of their way to refill or replace gas tanks when we needed - and even took the time to get to know us and share good places to visit while we were there! The property itself is about five minutes down a dirt road so be prepared for a somewhat bumpy, but totally worth it ride. There are shops less than fifteen minutes away and the town of Puerto Montt (about 30 minutes away) has an amazing waterfront with countless artisan street vendors, activities, food options, and the biggest mall in Chile (we did get lost a couple times in that mall). Overall the three of us (myself, my husband, and my daughter) were initially surprised by how rural the location and cabin was but quickly found ourselves loving it. Definitely our favorite stay of the two week trip!
