Great service, very great service. Wifi in the rooms were spotty, that’s the only thing. Plus having only one buffet and one restaurant, we seemed to gravitate to the buffet for omelettes and tacos that would be freshly made. Get up early and claim your chairs by the beach, and be sure you leave a personal item or they will clear it after 45 minutes.

Overall it’s just average. Pros: Located in a good place with bus stop and shops near by. Food and surroundings are nice. Cons: Room is not as expected. Bathroom isn’t good. Having an elevator would be helpful.

Beautiful area!! Can’t beat waking up and hearing the ocean waves! One morning we even saw a whale from our deck!! On Expedia it says elevators and further down no elevators. There are NO elevators. And there is also not the laundry that is advertised. The rooms were clean though a little musty, the high humidity probably makes that impossible to avoid. It was really loud in evenings. The part near the lobby would’ve been quiet but the part we were in, had views of the ocean but also overlooked the pool where music blasted from 1pm til show time (also loud) at 9pm. The keys constantly quit working so we’d have to walk over to the lobby. The food was okay. Breakfast was good and the made to order egg station had the nicest lady there most days! The other meals and snack places, it was okay. Nothing to write home about but a good break from cooking 3 meals a day. The people made the stay good. Good servers and desk people and housekeeping staff!

There is no Wi-Fi in any of the rooms. So you have to stand out in the hallway or in a common area. Just a bummer so I can't get work done laying in bed lol The rooms are average, you have to walk across a parking lot and down to a common area to go to the beach. There's barely any chairs on the beach just so you know. The garden area is nice and aesthetic. Love the kids pool. Food is not very good and minimal options should be a two out of five star hotel

The room we were given was horrible. The bedsheets smelled like body odor, a wall had a hole as if it was punched.the bench was broken couldnt sit on it. the sink was backedup I reported it a guy came to fix it but was backed up again. The shampoo dispensers were broken couldnt use it the soap area had half of it missing/ broken. The room smelled like drainage. The dresser was broken. I would not recomend this place. I explained to them that all my friends and family were. Staying at Grand Pelicanos and they would not change our hotel to theirs and we were not allowed to be with them because we were not VIP members We could not hang out so my money went to waste staying here I am dissapointed we were not accomodated or offered any day passes to Grand Pelicanos. I checked out and when we tried to have breakfast we were unable to because they cut off bracelet I explained we were not told that after they cut bracelet we couldnt eat. They should of told us. I am never coming back.

Careful with their seafood

We only stayed there for one night out of our 9 days. On our last night and I had food poisoning. For lunch I had shrimp and evening I had mussels. Those were the two different food items that I had with my family. They stayed away from seafood and we ate the same food. Unfortunately, I suffered from eating these seafood. The food selections are okay and the drinks are great. It was difficult to secure a lounge chair unless you wake up at 6:30am. However, the staff keeps good watch on people who leave their towels and abandoned their chairs for a long period and removes them. Other than that the staff and location are great. We felt safe and respected there. We enjoyed tacos from the food truck there.

They tried to put us in the wrong room, twice. We didn’t get into the room we had to upgrade for until the next day, we had to upgrade because they didn’t have any rooms available for what we paid. Make sure you know what you booked and that you get it. We weren’t given much information upon our arrival, like a map of the resort and the amenities. So we weren’t informed that the property is split in two and you have to cross the parking lot and go past the tennis courts to get to the other pool and ocean area, it’s not a big deal or very far, but we spent some time trying to find where to go for dinner the first night, as it was set up by the ocean pool for a special celebration. The property is beautiful despite broken walkways but it’s clean and the green space is well kept, just don’t expect much from the rooms. The shower handles and head were not fully attached and leaked, the water is rusty for the first couple seconds and our patio door frame was broken to the point the glass plane almost fell out one night and the handle didn’t exist on the outside or lock well from the inside. The rooms do not have mini fridges, which I didn’t think was an issue, until I met a fellow guest who had medication they needed to keep refrigerated and was using an insulated coffee cup and ice cubes. Almost all the staff were lovely and helpful….. some are not. Overall, I would say 3 star is accurate. Not sure their pricing reflects the state of the place.

The staff was incredibly friendly and efficient. My room was another story. I requested a balcony but did not have a room with a balcony until we further negotiated one. The room next to us played ridiculously loud music early morning and evening, but that really wasn't the resort's fault.my room was a long distance from the beach. Overall, the staff was the best part of the stay

The beach and pool on the ocean were fantastic! The service by all staff was excellent, especially our server, Julian at the pool. There are no balconies on the second and third floors of the main guest room building but you might be able to be upgraded (for a fee) to the ocean side building. Breakfast at the one buffet restaurant was quite good and has an omelette station. The a la carte restaurant was good and the burgers and pizza by the pool were decent. We went downtown for dinner. It was a short bus ride ($10 pesos) to downtown, which is nice. The guest rooms are getting a little tired and could use a renovation but overall, a good budget hotel.

Hola me parecio un lugar muy agradable la pasamos muy bien el lugar es limpio y siempre estan atentos en servicio al cliente el staf muy amable y agradables los restaurants con algunas opciones muy ricas casi todas cambian todos los dias las picinas super bien y las bebidas bien solo un detalle me hizo falta un par de sillas para la habitacion y la caja fuerte perdieron la combinacion y no pude hacer uso del servicio solo eso.
