The place was ok for a family vacation. The water park was great and the lifeguards are very attentive. The facilities are a hit or miss. I’m not blown away but we had a good time, and that is all that matter.

Im pretty sure this hotel was very good when opened 20 years ago, bc it does count with many amenities, there are lots of places to eat and is huge and every night there is entertainment. However, food quality was horrible for me and my group. The buffet can improve a lot not only the food quality but the cleaning of its cooking area and floors, I slipped two times, there where lamb, ceviche, beef, chicken, pork, fish, pasta etc etc. but everything taste horrible, like it was made for a concentration camp cause the flavor was horrible, meat was very hard, either no salt or too much salt. Restaurants as well, food was not very good, i even had a situation with flies in my soup and a waiter who touched with its own finger and told me he couldn’t catch all the flies in the restaurant, that made my night very unpleasant and disgusting. Even at the beach buffet you can see many flies even inside the bowl where the bread was. I don’t know how you can make a pork chop wrong but trust me some days where better than others. Bathrooms are not that clean, some rooms need remodeling asap and a better cleaning routine. It was raining a lot, the Sirenis does not offer umbrellas nor ponchos for families with little kids, i bought one for $15 the next day I was not able to get another one cause it was sold out. The coffee shop ladies where very rude and my last coffee was disgusting on purpose. At this hotel the clientele does not have the reason, the staff does not care about excellence.

We have booked different resorts and destinations for many years. Never ever were something stolen from our room… until now. Housekeeping went through all of our stuff and stole something from us in the amount of $200. We reported it to the concierge and also security staff. They went again to all of our cloth and bags, purses, etc. to gave us the feeling we made something up. After 2 days they told us that they can’t do anything. No call from the management, no apologizes, nothing. After that the housekeeping ignored our rooms and sometimes not provided us with some fresh towels. The thing that was stolen was in the closed closet in a purse, which was too big for the safe. The concierge told us that she had to clean the closet from inside on the second day of stay. Really? Never had this before. The family rooms are very small. We were 2 adults and one child and had no room to sit. The sofa bed for the child was not very comfy. There is no room to work on your laptop. The food was okay, but nothing special. We have expected a safe stay and a decent room. I would not book this resort again. BTW … we know from other travelers that the had reported some stolen items out of the room as well.

I was very nervous about our stay after reading other reviews. If you are American you need to suspend your US expectations and remember you are going internationally and most other guests are not American. The cleanliness was a 3.5, our room was the worst part of the trip. The resort is well laid out and easy to walk to all accommodations. The staff were friendly and helpful, only a few rude people. Our concierge was Patrick and he did a wonderful job. I highly recommend the spa, Francise was an absolute pleasure. We traveled with children ranging from 14 to 7 years old and they all had a great time and we always felt safe letting them walk around the property without constant adult supervision. If we could guarantee a better room we would come back to this resort.

I do not recommend this resort to anyone if you are reading this pay close attention: 1-they never had beach towels available, we went several times and they never had it. We ended using the one in the bedrooms to go to the pool and beach. 2-stay away from most of the a la carte restaurant especially the Brazilian the food is way undercooked, the meat smell like they just kill the animal is just awful ugh!!! The only one that deserves good reviews is the japones. 3-they don’t have enough personnel to attend people in the buffet area, most of the times you have to get up the table and get your own drinks and even ask for the utensils to eat because they don’t clean and prepare the tables on time when someone finishes. 4-they need to renovate all the furniture of the resort (all the Cushing are really really reeeeeaaaaallyyyy dirty that makes the resort look old and unclean). This resort don’t deserve to be in the punta Cana area way too poor for the standards of this tourist area. The only good experience that we have in this vacation was from the guys in the pool bar specifically Leandro, excellent service!!!! Keep the good work kid.

Liked the various options of dining. It was painful to have to ask for any type of drink Multiple times before you got served at the buffet. Staff were everywhere but seemed to never be on top of drinks.
