There are very limited office hours. Our checkin was supposed to be at 3pm but the room wasn’t ready until after 6pm. The room itself was clean but the back window from the bathroom was permanently open and opened to a construction site so two giant bugs came in while we were there. The room was massive, had nice furniture and lots of light. The kitchen was relatively well stocked with forks, plates and cups but there was nothing to actually cook on/in. No pots or pans. The panini press was great. The property had two pools, we swam in neither as they were murky and unclear. We’ve been to DR many times. Overall this property is great and super close to a beautiful beach. However, for the price I expected a lot better service. I’ve had similar properties at a much cheaper rate, equally as close to the beach for way less money. In addition the office hours are so poor that it was impossible to even speak with someone about our concerns. I would recommend this place only if you don’t care about the high cost per night.

Avoid this place. Their customer service is lacking. Starting with the offer to provide shuttle service from the airport. They didn’t show and didn’t respond to messages. There was a surprise charge when we arrived at the facility, 150 USD for electricity! There was a sign on the desk they kept pointing to, but you don’t see that sign on Expedia. I felt deceived and that their intentions were dishonest as they were very pushy to receive it in cash. You get little information about the place you’re staying. You have to ask for everything. You only get enough towels for the people in your room, no extra. They “don’t have them.” And you might get clean towels every other day. They have NO wash cloths. I was told the owner hasn’t bought them yet. We stayed in apartment K2. Advertised as 4 bed and 4 bath. Only 2 full baths and a 1/2 bath that was built into the space underneath the stairs. The plumbing is not great. You have access to beach towels, but we had to ask. We were not given enough to accommodate all the people in our unit. Reception response and housekeeping is very delayed. The pool onsite was dirty. We never used it. This property is located behind several resorts. You have access to one of the resort’s beach lounging areas, Villa Blanca Beach Club (great service at Villa Beach Club; very accommodating). But you wouldn’t know that unless you ask. I did not feel valued as a customer at Los Corales Beach Village. Book resort or travel agent.

I had an absolutely terrible experience at this place. The property was filthy—there was no housekeeping or cleaning service, and the entire place seemed neglected. The TV didn’t work, there were no beach towels, and the pool was closed for three days. The beach chairs were disgusting, and the kitchen was in terrible condition, with dingy surfaces and cockroaches everywhere. The rooms were large, but the bedding wasn’t changed until we had to go to the office and demand clean sheets. The staff were completely absent, and it felt like we were on our own the entire time. This place is a far cry from the photos—they are misleading and don’t reflect the reality of the property. The only redeeming quality was the proximity to the beach, but even that doesn’t make up for how bad everything else was. I would not recommend this place to anyone.

I do travel alot and this was one of my first experience asking me for more money when i had already paid everything up front had no choice but come to an agreement from 350USD to 100USD before i can actually get the room keys went to the room full of mosquitoes shower not working no iron to press my clothes went back to the front desk asked they said come back in one hour went back said come back after lunch went back again and now they don't have any and plenty of visitors who was staying there was at the front desk complaining

Come here with an independent state of mind. Absolutely no room service. The best part of the Villa is the location, close to restaurants and the beach. The staff are friendly, but you’ll only see them at check in and check out. I would stay here again, but need to bring towels and everything!!

We stayed in one of the duplexes upstairs with a nice view of the ocean. The unit was very big and pleasant. For some reasons we never got anyone for cleaning but it did not matter to us. The staff was very friendly and helpful. We had breakfast at the Villa Blanca Beach Club and ended up taking all with us to the room as we had a very pleasant balcony. The restaurant played nice local music but was a little too loud for the morning wake up! I would recommend and would love to go again and next time would request casa 24!!! Thank you

We came here during christmas time so obviously all the hotel prices were insane compared to how they regularly are. We chose this hotel for its attractive price however after this vacation I would highly not recommend staying here, even if your on a budget, Yes the hotel does come with basic things such as water, a bathroom, and working electricity. However when we first walked into our suite it smelled very old rustic and dusty it had a strange unpleasant scent. After the electricity activated in our room and the Air conditioner began to work then smell faded over time. When we walked into our rooms, there were no blankets on any of the beds so we had to ask the cleaning lady for 2 blankets for our 2 beds. At first she gave us these very thin and bad quality blankets, which were not enough for my family so we asked for a second blanket, when we requested a second blanket the cleaning lady got angry and denied giving us one. She only gave us a blanket after we talked to reception about the issue, and we got handed the blanket in a trash bag. This second blanket was even worst the the first and it was not even a blanket instead it was like a towel. The toilets barely flushed and left the scent of waste. And finally our specific suite which we got, the junior suite, was placed right behind a construction site. So on weekdays after 6 am we would hear drills and machinery. I barely got sleep here. I would only recommend sleeping here if you need a place to stay for a night.

When we arrived, there was a big leak in our room. Instead of giving us the next available room, they made us wait for a very long time to try to clean up this room with a leak. We had traveled for 24 hours with our little girl who is six years old. We were tired and it was getting late. After they made us wait for close to one hour with multiple workers coming to clean the leaked water, finally then they said to give us an empty room. Perhaps they could have offered us that sooner. I don’t know the reason, maybe they expected to clean the room faster. We came during Christmas week, so maybe they were understaffed, because it was hard to find people to get pool towels, and the front office was usually closed. Also, our room was only cleaned once when we stayed for five days. I think they probably have better service when it is not Christmas week. The location is nice and overall the place is a good deal. I think they have potential to be much better. Simple things like keeping the pool cleaner or have more lights around the pool, and having pool towels available more often. It was 3 PM in the afternoon and no one was available when many guests looked for pool/beach towels; they said we had to return to the front office in the morning for towels. But in the morning, nobody was at the front office.

Our experience was HORRIBLE!!! The room we stayed at had absolutely NO hot water in the shower(there was also barely any water in general) the place was EXTREMELY dirty, the ground had hair, grim, and dirt all over the floor. Also the light outside was hanging out of the ceiling and did not work, and the towels and bedding we’re dirty and they did not clean them or change them. Don’t expect a kitchen because the only appliance was a fridge that doesn’t work. This place was so extremely horrible that we only stayed one night and left when we were supposed to stay for a week.
