Hôtel was very nice however VERY loud. I’d recommend staying on the third floor. It sounded like people are moving furniture and rollerskating above me . Also make sure you are away from the laundry room on 2nd fl. Walls are also thin. Had a woman putting on quite the performance and needed to bang on the walls a few times for them to stop. Woke up to construction being done one morning in the parking lot before 8 AM. Overall, very nice place to say, however I’ve stayed in hostels that were quieter..

J’ai sélectionné mon hotel et ma chambre à partir des photos disponibles. Les photos ne correspondent pas du tout à ma chambre. Une petite salle de bain, avec petit comptoir en coin…. Il n’y a rien que je déteste plus que me faire flouer de cette manière. Arrivé à 22:00, je n’avais ni le goût, ni l’énergie de redescendre à la reception pour changer de chambre.

We had a great time at Hotel Port Royal! We had a beautiful suite that easily fit our family of four. The concierge was very helpful and able to direct our questions with lots of helpful answers. Everything was very clean and updated. There was a bit of noise (construction) in the morning but we anticipated this from other reviews. The area is incomparable and so many amazing sights were walkable!

We spent 2 nights here, visiting Quebec for the Christmas Market. Staff were helpful, our room was wonderful and we thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The only thing we can offer for improvement is to keep the sidewalks near the hotel and parking clear of ice ... there was more ice here than any other block we encountered walking in the city.
