Tired looking 3 star hotel at best!

Disappointing from the start. Our room was not available even though we checked in on time. The room we were given instead was absolutely roasting hot and dirty. The toilet still had paper down it! The second room was better but tv remote didn’t work. Breakfast was very basic. This was the most expensive hotel of our trip - and by far the worst. Would not recommend this hotel.

The room had no air conditioning and was like a sauna! Staff provided a fan, but definitely a disadvantage not to have aircon. Corridors and lift could have used a vacuum. Although our room was clean. There is no signage and the layout of the hotel is difficult to navigate without pointers. We spent sometime trying to find our way around. The private hot tub was nice but a very basic facility.

Location is great for walking into the town and the view of the lake from the room was nice. The staff were helpful and friendly but the room was dated. There was no air con in room but a fan and the window barely closed with the latch which was loose. Overall it suited me for the location but the rooms could benefit from updating.

Issue with Expedia: Was promised a room with a view but when reached property, there were no room with view available. Had to spend lot of time talking with the Hotel and then with Expedia executive before we can check-in. Ultimately received a refund of $60 and had to take whatever was available. Issue with Hotel: No air conditioning there was a table fan which couldn't cover whole room. Bathroom was not stocked , floor was not clean or vaccumed Coffee maker was filthy. Overall staff was good and very helpful but the room we got was terrible. We trust Expedia when we do booking so Expedia should have some accountability when we don't get what we are promised or have paid for.

The property needs an upgrade. The room we got the walls were yellow. The room was very dated. We moved to another room and it wasnt much better for the price. The plis points the bed, shower and jet bath. The room was not good and i would not stay there or recommend the hotel to anyone. Very disappointing

For the price we paid, this hotel was lacking. The breakfast buffet was just not good. Like barely decent. And even though we had prepaid for the breakfast, by day 3 we skipped it altogether. Just so very blah. And also, the cleaning crew came around 6pm and 4pm respectively both. Nights, as in when we had returned from a day being out, our room still hadn’t been cleaned. For the price we paid, this hotel was definitely blah. *Note: great location and gorgeous lakeside view.

Do not stay. There is no air conditioning. The windows don't have screens. I couldn't sleep as there were bugs buzzing around me all night. This is not a 4 star hotel in the USA...not even a 3 star. If it were in the US it would be 2.5 stars max. The hotel caters to Chinese tourists who probably have different expectations.

The junior suite I had was tad dated, however, the lakeviews more than made up for it. The bed was comfy and the room was clean & tidy. Didn't quite get the opportunity to try out the in-house restaurants. Staff were courteous. The resort is within walkable distance to the town centre and to the Queenstown Gardens. Will definitely return next time.

We were upgraded to a suite with a fantastic view over the lake. Bed and shower were excellent. We used hotel parking which was convenient. Hotel is a 10 minute walk to shopping and restaurants with botanical garden access on the way.

It was great being on the ground floor with a grass area and a beautiful view of the mountains and lake. Room was not ready when we arrived after 2pm and our room was not redressed until 5pm. Staff were very friendly and accommodating. The view of our room made up for it - would have been disappointed otherwise
