Comfortable and reliable

This is our 4th stay with Stoney Creek and we've come back again because of the comfort. The staff is friendly, room are compact and comfortable, breakfast is okay. We haven't had time to use the pool but it looks very inviting. They have a small bar on site and serve some quicker food.

The team member at reception was just great. We had asked for a room close to the reception area and on the first floor due to my oxygen requirement and they provided it. The breakfast could have been warmer but it was sufficient.

We had to be moved 3 times before the TV worked. Then, in that room, the coffee machine did not work. Finally, the much hailed breakfast had even more equipment failure. This hotel is nice but it’s time for some upgrades.

Main we choose this hotel was for pool. Pool was too cold to use, even our six year old would not stay in the pool. She stayed in about ten minutes. We attempted to go in the next morning and she would not go in at all. Not would other kid guests, they all went to the hot tub The hot tub capacity is ten people. While we were there it had 22-25 people in it with unsurprised kids jumping in.

The rock water wall by the hot tub is now cracked and looks like it will be falling on someone soon. There were teenagers and children crawling up it and jumping off it into the pool. One of them then set a fire in the oil area. Maybe 1 to 2 adults "watching" at least 20 to 30 kids. Sexual activities happening by unsupervised teenagers in hot tub i wanted to get into with my children. Front desk kicked them out of the pool after it wasn't safe for any of us however didn't kick them out of the hotel. I was afraid they would start another fire in a room. Another family did check out with same concern asking them to kick out the kids that starts the fire. We didn't have that luxury. I hope you review camera footage and early check out to ensure this all happened. We stay emery year 2 times a year in the winter due to awesome rates and pool however i think we will stop that tradition after this stay. Your staff were nice however seemed to have their hands tied on action? They did tell me they filed a police report.
