I stayed in Raleigh to check out colleges in the area for my son, and to assess whether Raleigh was a place we'd like to live in the future. I chose this property because it seemed cozy and compact, which always makes me feel more secure than a cavernous, sprawling place when traveling alone. This "mini condo" was wonderful and only got better as I stayed longer. Yes, the place is not huge, but it was incredibly well stocked and laid out. I loved that the bed was on the second floor, separating the living and sleeping areas. The bed was super comfy and the whole space fan provided great white noise that completely washed out any sounds from surrounding units, allowing me to sleep very soundly. The complex overall was very quiet, and the people I passed were all friendly. The location cannot be beat if you are interested in checking out Pullen Park (a mere .3 mile away), NC State University, or downtown. Raleigh is a real walking city and the location was safe (especially important as a solo woman traveler), quiet, and incredibly convenient to everything. I literally walked around for about 10-11 hours each day, always felt very safe, and loved having this lovely little retreat to return to each night. Check in was very easy, the guidelines were clear, and communication with the owners was swift and very pleasant. If I ever travel solo, or with just my husband to Raleigh again, I would want to stay at this little gem of a property once more.
