The hotel is old and needs to be updated. The furniture in the room is old There are no outlets to charge your phone or iPad The breakfast bar is below average there is no yogurt no sweet rolls no fixings for the oatmeal like raisins or brown sugar

This hotel is very run down. The carpet was dirty, elevators are dirty, the bathtub and toilet were rusty. The pool outside our window was green. It is extremely obvious that no money is being used to fix anything. Thankfully the towels were clean and the bedding was clean for our one night stay. We visit KoKa Booth for concerts often, but I’ll never stay at this hotel again.

The room we got was absolutely disgusting. The mattress, bed sheets, pillows, etc was stained and gross. There was stuff left dried on the countertops like it had never been wiped down before. Carpet looked like it hadn’t been vacuumed or anything.

Not happy.
The whole place smelt like smoke. We ended up checking out early. The room looked dirty and not actually cleaned in a while. Stains everywhere. We will not be going back to this hotel.

Here’s why I won’t stay here again
I was very unimpressed. I understand that it’s one of the cheapest places to stay in Cary so I wasn’t expecting the ritz but there should be a minimum standard. The carpet throughout the room was damp; there was a strong musty smell in the whole building but especially the hallway, stairwell, and elevator. Speaking of the elevator, it was super sketchy, it wouldn’t always go to the right floor and it just felt old and rickety so we ended up taking the hot smelly stairs for the most part. The sink didn’t drain, the toilet didn’t flush consistently, and the shower had a piece of the wall falling out. There was an issue with the door lock and/or key and we got locked out of the room a couple times from it malfunctioning and the front desk staff was not helpful at all. Also, I don’t know if I can’t blame the hotel for this but overnight my car got infested with ants. I’ve never had any kind of bug issue in any care before and there wasn’t food in the car or anything but after one night in their parking lot I came back to a car full of ants. One positive thing I will say is that they don’t charge a cancellation fee. I had originally planned my stay for the prior weekend and my kid got sick so I had to cancel that stay last minute and they didn’t charge me so I do appreciate that. The actual stay was not good though

We loved the pool and how quiet and peaceful it was. However, we were there for 6 nights and had to ask for clean towels and wash cloths every morning. I asked housekeeping three times if they would clean our room and change our bed linens. On the last day we were there I ask the front desk why it was not getting done they said housekeeping has lots of rooms to get cleaned. We were gone through the day until after 7 o’clock. They finally cleaned our room Sunday but we checked out Monday. The staff was very nice but the housekeeping was terrible.

It was under renovation so some mess is to be expected. Nice people, nice room. My complaints are square short pillows that were impossible to get comfortable in. The clerk was able to find me 2 regular pillows however. They need to splurge on lids for the coffee cups as well.
