To be fair, this trip has reinforced we are not resort people. The service was impersonal and the crowd was very family oriented. The food was good and the room was fine. I think the main drawback was the dated age of the property and the worn condition of the furniture, towels, beach shoes etc.

Big resort on Western coast
Big resort with restaurant, bar, pool and other facilities. Gardens are scrupulously looked after. Staff are friendly, helpful and efficient. The pool was closed for a few days because guests (or parents of guests) cannot behave properly. The beach is a great plus.

I loved my stay at the Edgewater Resort. A beautiful place to stay, very friendly, quick service always a kind word & a smile. Easy walking, convenient transport. I would highly recommend to any family & friends staying there. Our room had beautiful view of the gardens, yummy food Spaghetti Housr awesome. Snorkeling, swimming everday yes.Next time i would opt for a seaview room il love the ocean.

Loved the People working there as the Service was 2nd to none - so friendly and accomodating. Our room - was always cleaned to perfection. It took a while getting used to the Roosters crowing strange hours of the night though … but of course that’s all part of the experience. Thanks Edgewater.
