The hotel was in a quiet area but with plenty of bars and places to eat nearby. It is also only a short walk from the cathedral and the old town centre. Staff were friendly and helpful and the room was clean and quiet. We only ate breakfast at the hotel and that was great. It was also close to the bus stops where a lot of the tour companies pick up. We would definitely return.

We had a wonderful stay over the holidays 2024. The staff was warm and welcoming. The room was perfect for us . We had daily breakfast. Location was perfect for walking and transportation and tour pick up . Definitely a great hotel

Everything was fantastic! From the moment we arrived the front desk was very friendly and welcoming. We were lucky our rooms were ready so we checked in early and received a voucher for breakfast. THANK GOODNESS as my friends and I arrived early in the morning after a rough flight.

Great choice
This hotel was clean and accommodating. Everything you needed was included. It was perfect for exploring Reykjavik and convenient for bus pick up for tours, just around the corner from the main door. The included breakfast was good and it was a nice restaurant and bar.

Great customer service and excellent location
We stayed for 3 nights total. The service was absolutely excellent- the staff was very helpful in answering questions regarding general travel. The breakfast buffet (included in the price) was excellent! Lots of options to choose from. It was convenient to have a bar and restaurant in the hotel lobby. The hotel location is perfect- on Laugavegur, the Main Street. We used bus stop 9 (literally right in front of the hotel) for tour pick ups. I would agree with other reviews that the rooms are small, but all you really need. Great experience staying here, and will plan to book this place again when I return to Reykjavik for vacation!

The location is extremely convenient. Very walkable area. Super friendly staff. Breakfast is good. The on site restaurant was also an excellent dinner option. This hotel does not have amenities such as spa/gym and during my stay use of sister properties was not offered. My biggest complaint would be that the walls are very thin. On the days when I tried sleeping in I could hear my neighbors on either side of my room whether they were conversing or involved in more intimate activities. I definitely used my noise canceling headset more than I wanted to. All in all it was a fine choice, however if you are a light sleeper i would not recommend

The location of the hotel was perfect for walking into central Reykjavík. However we requested a double room and were given a twin room. Nevertheless we overlooked this however over the coming few days we were there this was a regret. The room had an en suit however due to no proper door sealing between the bedroom and bathroom the stink of the shared drains was in our room. There were also multiple socket outlets loose on the walls. Our room was not as we expected to the photos. There are some pros of this hotel such as the breakfast and location to walk into Reykjavík.

All staff are super nice. When we arrived around 11AM, rooms were ready for us. Rooms are clean. Tour bus pickup is right outside of the hotel which makes the waiting more tolerable in the windy cold weather.

We really liked and enjoy our stay at 95-99 Center Hotels Laugavegur. The staff/employees are nice particularly the restaurant manager (we forgot to take his name but i think he's the only restaurant manager there - very nice guy), the guy at the reception and his shift manager (aka Michael Buble look), All the staff in our floor (3rd floor) who looks after our room - they even brought me the hotel slippers as Iceland Air left my baggage in Toronto. Delicious breakfast - they even have something for vegetarian people. Hotel is so close to everything, bus stop, grocery stores, shopping, seaport, that popular church, the rainbow street and everything. I would stay again in this hotel.

Great Stay and great location! The hotel had an elevator, which was a must for us, and it made our stay so much more convenient. Drank water straight from the tap!!! We rented a car, so having parking was essential. The parking lot in the back was small, with fewer than 10 spaces, but plenty off street parking. The hot breakfast in the morning was great and The staff from the restaurant and front desk were wonderful—warm, friendly, and welcoming, which made our experience even better. Location is perfect, with bus stop 9 located right around the corner, shops, 24/7 markets, eateries and places to visit. Overall, we’d recommend this hotel.
