Perfectly located near the city centre. Very clean and tidy, perfect for a quick stop over in the city or even longer stays to base yourself out of. Reasonably easy parking in the lots nearby which you can park in overnight.

This is a fantastic hotel and property. Staff was outstanding! 10 stars would not be enough. In heart of Reykjavík tourist area and near bus stop 14 for excursions. Bonus supermarket close walking distance. They even provided some complimentary milk, juice, cereal. This is the most accommodating hotel I have ever stayed at. I would definitely stay here again and not hesitate to recommend it.

We absolutely loved staying at the property. We stayed in the Artisan House which was beautiful and had everything we needed. We will definitely stay here again. The room was quiet and clean and we found parking right in front of the house.

Perfect location to explore Reykjavík, 10 minute walk from bus stop 14 where airport bus drops off. Friendly helpful reception staff, all areas clean, Room spacious clean comfortable bed, hot shower, kitchen space good. Breakfast basket in room the afternoon before - egg, jam butter ham fruit, yogurt and fresh bread dropped to door 8am each day.

Fantastic stay in excellent location.

We had an amazing time at the Reykjavík residence Hotel. The apartments had everything that you needed and was immaculate. The breakfast basket and sourdough bread delivered to your apartment every morning was great! The location was ideal literally round the corner from all of the local bars, shops and restaurants. We would 100% recommend staying here. The only minor issue we had was finding the right building on arrival for the self check in using the code emailed to you. There are quite a few of the hotels “Reykjavík residence” blocks scattered around the area, all located in different streets which we didn’t know beforehand. We ended up getting dropped off at the wrong Reyjavik residence building and had to walk around for 5-10 minutes with the suitcases in the rain trying to find our block. We assumed we would be staying in the main hotel as we were not aware when booking there are separate buildings located nearby so it’s best to clear that up before you go to save booking the wrong drop off address with your transfer company.

The hotel staff were very friendly, and the room was comfortable. The shampoo and body wash were from L’Occitane, which smelled wonderful. They also provided free milk and juice. The hotel’s location was excellent, making it convenient to go anywhere.

Difficult to find but once you figure out where it is located it is good. Wish the hotel Lobby was in the building where you stay. The breakfast each morning was very nice. They catered to a Gluten Free option which was great! My husband loved the fresh bread every morning. Very clean and comfortable. Would recommend getting rid of the air fresheners. Very strong smell. Too fragrant. We ended up putting it outside of the room as we couldn't sleep.

Great Stay

Our stay got off to a rocky start. We received check in information before arrival, however the location of the apartment was not very clear. The address given was not found in Maps and the addresses on the building were a little unclear. After calling the desk and walking around, we found the apartment after about 20 minutes. The apartment was clean and well stocked. It was too warm when we arrived, but we were able to figure out how to turn down the heat. The room was cleaned each day and supplies restocked as needed. We enjoyed our stay here very much and would highly recommend!
