The villa is very spacious and quite quirky with high ceilings and nicely decorated. It was all very clean on arrival. It is described as having six bedrooms: four are double, one has bunk beds and the last one is a small single room. It also says that it has five bathrooms. In fact there are only three. One is an actual en suite bathroom with a bath which is very nice. The other two are shower rooms. One of them is en suite to the room with bunk beds. The other is shared between the three double bedrooms. There is a ground floor toilet which is very useful. Outside there are a further two toilets. The house was amazing, marble floors everywhere which keeps everything very cool on hot days and very comfortable. The games room is a real bonus keeping the kids happy. It has a pool table but it is a large enough room for a couple of other games that could be added by the owner: Table tennis, Table soccer? Very appealing for families.
The outside is something else. Of all the villas I have been to there is nothing that gets even close to the pool and outside space here. The pool is huge. There are outside toilets and shower, BBQ area with large gas BBQ, long tables with plenty of seating, Large drinks fridge and a separate freezer in the bar.
The owner, Frank, came around with two boxes of traditional Greek sweets a huge pile of very sweet grapes from his vinyard.
There is a good supermarket and petrol station close by and a great bakery on the main road. Both are within walking distance.
The local beaches are not very good. Lindos is about 60 minutes away and Tsampika about 35 minutes. Beautiful clean sandy beaches.
We are a large family and this is the ideal place. It suited us perfectly.
We had a fantastic time here and would definately recommend it.
