Lots of potential, probably 3.5 / 5.0.
Things that could help a lot: Host could have paper towels, napkins, garbage bags, instructions for water refill, trash/recycling. Water in bathroom sinks trickles out and toilets sometimes don't flush (that's island living) The curtains were cheap and let too much light in (some where broken). The silverware was a little rusty, but plentiful. If you're using the couch as a bed...it's a bit difficult to use but it works.
Things that were great: Security, A/C worked very well, plenty of hot water, Towels were good. The Washer/Dryer was broken half the time, but when it worked...it worked very well. TV had ESPN. Wi-fi was good in main room. Layout good, but could use a closet. Management was incredibly responsive with WhatsApp. Fridge was big and convenient. Other guests clearly left laundry soap and some sun screen.
There is NO generator here, so if the power goes out...which it did 3 to 4 times...you're out of luck. Hotels on the island do have generators so you can get food there if you need! If it rains, it makes getting to the beach tougher as mud covers the street (like almost all streets on the island) and you'll get dirty pretty quick.
Walking to West Bay is the best part of this stay. The location is great, and within 10 mins you're at the heart of the beach. Walk to the end another 20 minutes and you can snorkel by the rocks at the end of the island...which is incredible.
