Was on a family trip staying at hotel with my sister and great nieces. All in all, our stay has been great beginning with the check-in process. Last evening my sister screamed at the sight of a cockroach crawling across the microwave. She was able to trap and kill it. I called the front desk to inquire about removing the kitchen trash from the room and was instructed to place it outside the door. I also reported the sighting of the cockroach and was instructed to take a photo. I retrieved the dead smashed bug from the trash and snapped a photo . I did inquire about changing our room since this type of insect can proliferate and infest our luggage and belongings. I understood another 2 bedroom room was not available. Also, was not informed upon check in that our room would not be serviced daily. Called front desk @ 6pm on 2nd day of our stay. Was informed that room would not be serviced and I could come to front desk for clean towels.

Carpet in hallway very dirty. Bathroom sink stopped up but fixed when complained. Cotton type shower curtain badly ripped and missing liner. Walls and tub not very clean. Furniture badly stained and banged up.

Pretty nice if you like long walks
It was a long walk from the elevator to our room. The building has an odd layout where we had to walk down three corridors to reach our room. You’ll want the lowest room numbers on each floor to avoid that. The indoor pool was very nice and the room itself was great.

Maid service every 2-days but didn’t change it make bedding and didn’t provide new towels. Floor was sticky and rugs were dirty. Ceilings had cobwebs and dust all over them and the room smelled a bit like smoke and musk. Front desk ladies were really nice got what it’s worth and the reception area seemed clean and well kept.

Our room unfortunately wasn’t ready at check in. They did communicate with us but it was frustrating… otherwise our room was fantastic , breakfast was great, I would stay again.

Not so good, as they required a 250$ deposit for room damage at checkin I have stayed at other Homewood suites that wasn’t required. No extra pillows and the pool was closed. The staff were pleasant and welcoming and only thing that keeps me for a horrible rating.

I love the kitchen and separate living room space. It was a great stay, I just wish that the dishes appeared more clean and that there was more to do in the area. It was perfect for my stay though, and the breakfast was good.

For the amount of money paid for a "suite" I'd been better off at a Red Roof Inn or another lower cost motel. The microwave was not clean, the "hospitality" shower soap close to empty (so I used my own), the toilet seat very low ( maybe suitable for anyone under 5 ft. tall), and I finally figured out the room door locking mechanism (give it 10 seconds to lock) on day two. The breakfast was what I'd expect at a lower cost motel, not a Hilton brand. Won't stay there again. Plus side: the area appears safe and is close to grocery stores, etc.
