Eh, they need to wash their bedding.
We rented this place for the weekend to take senior photos at the beach. I specificly rented this one for the hot tub, I'm an old lady who drove 8 hours for my kids, with my kids and all i wanted was to soak at the end of the day only to find out the hot tub was cold. I sent a message, no response. The wifi didnt work. I sent a message, no response. I sent another message, no response. The next morning i sent another message and then someone called me and told me the hot tub didnt work and they were waiting for parts. But nobody told me before or after renting until i said something, multiple times. And they never fixed the wifi. One of the blankets upstairs had semen. When i reached out for support they said theyd forward my request and again i had to reach out multiple times for any response. Still no resolution. Had the hot tub & wifi worked, the bedding been clean and someone actually responded when messaged it would have been okay. The neighborhood was quiet. But customer service sucked.

Nice Quiet Neighborhood
We enjoyed our stay in Rockaway beach- loved the beach was in walking distance! The rental had great beds and the hot tub was used nightly. The town had lots of fun shopping. Even had a vendor fair over the weekend. Short travels to visit other beaches. We had a great trip! My 2 suggestions would be- just telling guests when the trash day is, instead of having to get a hold of management to ask. Also, a new toaster!

Our first visit to Oregon
This property accommodated my family nicely, was clean and is nicely located to the ocean. Many of the electric outlets need replaced as they do not hold plugs well (can be a fire hazard.) Also, the entertainment system (tv etc) in the living room needs updated as it was difficult to maneuver, keep on and slow to respond. It would kick off the program or the entire system would shut down.

Great vacation
The house was fantastic. It really is close enough to walk to the beach. My five year old did without even complaining that her legs hurt! The kids room was facing west so it was warm and bright so we used some of the extra blankets to add extra window covering just FYI. Other than that it was super family friendly. Bring your own beach umbrellas and folding chairs too.

Rockaway Family Trip 2022
First off I want to make sure not to give you a bad rating so that it will affect your business. I do however want to help you realize some issues that are at this property. The grounds need a lot of TLC and maintenance. The driveway was almost hidden by the over growth. We brought our dogs and the grass was so high they got lost in. Both front and back yards are completely overgrown and not even able to walk on. Blackberry are taking over your yard as well and the bushes and trees are a mess. Not sure if you are getting charged for landscaping but if you are you are getting ripped off. The house was clean and in order. It would have been helpful to have a notebook with how to use the hot tub and internet and cable and so forth. The stove needs to be replaced it is filthy and the vents and fans do not work. We could not find a plug for the kitchen sink, it might have been there but we could not locate it. The pots and pans could use a little updating as well. Property at Rockaway
Property has not been maintained. Both front and backyard completely overgrown, our kids couldn’t enjoy the yard. Hot tub was out of chemicals, we called maintenance and they were kind enough to show up the day we called to clean the tub and refill chemicals. Floors of bathrooms were covered in previous tenants hair and dirt. The dryer doesn’t work so we couldn’t clean any clothes or towels. Pots, pans and dishes were all dirty. Had to clean before use. Our stay on the coast was nice but the property needed some TLC —- looked nothing like pictures.

Great house, has everything you need to have a great stay. I wanted the house for the hot tub and they really need to clean it. The hot tub did not have the right PH levels and was very dirty, I belive most people would rent the house for the hot tub. Before I would rent again, I would message the owner to see if they can have someone go out to get the hot tub cleaned and with the right PH levels. Thank you for the stay

The property was beautiful and exactly what we saw online. The only issue I had was the cleanliness of the house when we arrived it was not very clean and there were things left from other guests in the room, and the coffee maker and dishes were also not clean but other then that it was great.

Only hiccup was checkin. We arrived right at 4pm for checkin and house wasn’t ready till 5pm. No big deal we were compensated appropriately and really enjoyed this house. Have stayed at many places across the 101 and this house was by far the most convenient for our family.

Quiet neighborhood close to the beach
Great little place to stay in a quiet neighborhood. a quick 5 min walk to the beach and a perfectly sized small home the bunk room was great for the three boys! hot tub was in working order, and property management got back to us right away and very professional.

Unclean and unsanitary.
The hot tub needed shock treatment the sides were slimy the water dirty it wouldn’t get past 94 temp. The house smelled like sweat upon entering. The furniture smells of urine and who knows what else. One bed had a blood stain on the bed spread another had hairs, smelled of smoke, which meant not clean bedding. The washer only can wash 1 load hot water. This means unless the owner waits for the hot water table to reheat the linens are not all washed in hot water. No antibacterial soap of any kind was in the home. Limited laundry soap was provided and zero bleach for the towels. Just be advised this is close to the beach but expect to bring everything and to clean before your family uses anything for safety and health. Also the upstairs toilet barely works. We were very disappointed.
