This property was in a decent location and reasonably priced, but certainly not a five or a four star hotel. More like a three star. Also, the front desk staff was slightly rude. I wouldn’t stay there again.

Lovely hotel with great service
Amazing hotel if you're looking for a quiet place to get away from the Rome hustle and bustle. We stayed in the terrace room and found out that none of their rooms have a city view,.. so if your looking for a city view, the only place is on the top floor at the restaurant, which is by far the nicest view.

The roof top dining and bar was exquisite. The view spectacular. The service top notch. Very much enjoyed the location and setting. Easily walkable from the Spanish steps and plenty of shopping options. Walked all the way to the Colosseum and back (5 miles), still a nice walk and lots of interesting sites along the way. The staff helped us navigate so it really was no problem!

The hotel outdid themselves with the location, the food, the view (WOW), and the proximity to many attractions and shopping areas. The rooms were lovely, everything was clean and sparkling. My wife and I spent three nights wonderful nights at the Splendide Royal The service from all staff was amazing but I would like to give a special shout out to Ivan who was amazing and so helpful. The rooms are super lux with great beds and bathrooms The hotel is well located and all the sites and shops are within easy walking distance although our room remained well insulated from and traffic noise. I would highly recommend this property to anyone looking for a luxurious stay in the centre of the Eternal City
