Very complete equipment. 4G + telephony and WIFI. The three bedrooms (a bed 180 x 200, a bed 160 x 200, two beds 90 x190) each have their private bathroom. The bright living room opens onto a landscape of greenery. For fun, in the evening you can make beautiful outbreaks in the old Provencal wood stove in the living room. The house of 160m2 habitable is totally independent with a large garden, a terrace, deck chairs, a barbecue .... on a property of one hectare with trees and landscaped with a HEATED POOL FROM JUNE TO SEPTEMBER, as soon as the night temperature on allows (26°C).
The surrounding countryside landscape, combines shady spaces, flowering groves, laurels, fruit trees, boxwood, oaks and centenary weeping willows. French charm
Our hosts are very proud of the amazing job they did renovating a very old house into a charming place to stay. Rouffiac has easy access to Albi and Toulouse. There were lots of places to hike and forage for cheese and wine. And the pool was the best pool during our two week visit to France with lots of sitting space to enjoy the sunsets.

Un séjour plus que décevant
Nous avons été très déçus par notre séjour dans ce gite.
Tout d’abord, le rapport qualité / prix n’est vraiment pas bon. 2 500 € pour cette maison est excessif. Nous avons déjà loué de nombreuses maisons ce qui nous permet d’avoir des éléments de comparaison. Elle est jolie sans plus, la décoration intérieure est très basique. En terme de confort, c’est le minimum du minimum. Et il n’y a rien de mis à disposition : pas de charbon de bois, aucun condiment. Le barbecue est en fin de vie. En revanche, on note bien les compteurs d’eau et d’électricité au début du séjour…! Nous n’en revenions pas.
Ce qui nous a particulièrement déplu, c’est surtout le comportement des propriétaires. Nous comprenons les contraintes qui ont été ajoutées par rapport au COVID et nous ne les remettons pas en question.
Mais sachant que cette période a été pour tous éprouvante, ce n’est pas pour se retrouver dans un environnement où il y a des règles sur tout et n’importe quoi et où on a peur de se faire réprimander quand on lève le petit doigt.
Enfin, lorsque nous ne pouvons arriver avant 17h le samedi soir et que nous nous engageons à faire le ménage, nous obliger à quitter la maison à 9h00 du matin, le samedi suivant, c’est incompréhensible. En quittant le gite en fin de matinée, il avait largement le temps d’être aéré avant l’arrivée des locataires suivants. Les règles du COVID ont bon dos !

Un havre de paix
Une vieille maison toute en pierres, magnifiquement rénovée, le calme absolu, une grande piscine et un emplacement idéal pour découvrir Albi (on est au centre ville en 10 minutes), les villages du Tarn... un lieu à recommander pour des vacances en famille.
