Spacious holiday home with private pool

This air-conditioned holiday home in the pretty village of Saint-Maximin has a private swimming pool and a superb terrace. It's perfect for a couple's holiday exploring the Gard region.

Spacious and bright, decorated in Provencal colours, it is adjoining the owners' house, but does not overlook your terrace. It also has a barbecue and plenty of privacy.

Saint-Maximin is a picturesque village built on a hill far from the main roads, overlooking the valley and offering pleasant walks through its narrow streets and shady squares.

You'll be between the magnificent medieval town of Uzès (4 km), famous for its Saturday market, and the Pont du Gard (10 km), a UNESCO World Heritage site.

Visit the Musée du Bonbon 2.5km away for some sweet discoveries. Go cycling on the many greenways, which run through breathtaking scenery. Take an hour to reach the beaches of the Mediterranean, crossing the wild Camargue for some water-based fun. There are several outstanding gardens to visit, including the Bambouseraie at Générargues. In Collias (7 km), you can hire a canoe on the Gardon river.
