We appreciated the cleanliness of the property, and the kitchen is well-appointed (better than 90% of rentals I've stayed in), though I was not able to find a cutting board. Few VRBOs have king size beds, so that was a major perk, and it was a very comfortable bed--not too firm or too soft. We ended up using throw pillows from the beds for our kids to sleep on since we did not find enough pillows for everyone, but it worked out. The bunk bed is incredibly creaky when someone is sleeping on the top bunk, so we did have to move the mattress down so our kids could sleep. Also, we were surprised to find that we were not given control over the thermostat, and it was a bit warm during the night. I'm assuming this is because there are tenants downstairs. We did not see the playground that is mentioned in the listing, but our kids did enjoy running around the backyard to get some energy out. Overall, I recommend it as a great "home away from home" , and you will be hard-pressed to find a more affordable, clean, and family friendly place with close access to the interstates.
