We really wanted to love this place, but unfortunately, it fell short for us.Pros:âąLocation: A nice walk to the beach for those who are able. You can walk to your heartâs content!âąComfortable beds: Everyone slept well.âąWell-stocked kitchen: Had everything we needed for cooking and dining.âąParking: Garage fits two cars, plus plenty of street parking.âąBeach gear: Chairs and an umbrella were available for use.âąWasher and dryer: Very convenient for our stay.Cons:âąTV and sound bar issues: The TV installation was wobbly, and the sound bar connection was unreliable. We had to unplug and reconnect it multiple times.âąFireplace hazard: When on, the fireplace heated up the TV and sound bar, making it unusable.âąPlumbing problems: The half bath toilet didnât flush.âąWater purifier: It needed replacing, as the filtered water wasnât usable.âąTrash bins: The trash bins in the garage hadnât been emptied, leaving a strong smell by the end of our trip.âąJacuzzi issues: The automatic pump splashed water, causing the water level to drop significantly by Day 4.âąMoldy smell in the basement: This was the biggest drawback. The smell was so strong that we couldnât use the space, which was disappointing. Thankfully, two of our guests didnât make the trip, so we didnât need to rely on the sofa bed in the basement. While the location and amenities had potential, these maintenance issues significantly impacted our experience.
