Amazing and comfortable! The neighborhood is quiet and friendly.. Kitchen had plenty of supplies and we ate most meals outside. enjoyed using the hot tub. For the beach, there were plenty of beach chairs, beach towels, an umbrella, beach toys, etc. We walked down to the beach multiple times a day. It’s not far but there are lots of stairs down. It was very nice to have a designated garage. On street parking can be hard to find. Getting in and out of the garage can be a little difficult especially if other tenants are coming and going at same time. We throughly enjoyed our stay!

This property was a great place to stay. The house is well taken care of and has everything you need. The location is perfect and a five minute walk from the beach. My family and I had a great time and would gladly stay here again!

Decent Stay, but Room for Improvement

We really wanted to love this place, but unfortunately, it fell short for us.Pros:‱Location: A nice walk to the beach for those who are able. You can walk to your heart’s content!‱Comfortable beds: Everyone slept well.‱Well-stocked kitchen: Had everything we needed for cooking and dining.‱Parking: Garage fits two cars, plus plenty of street parking.‱Beach gear: Chairs and an umbrella were available for use.‱Washer and dryer: Very convenient for our stay.Cons:‱TV and sound bar issues: The TV installation was wobbly, and the sound bar connection was unreliable. We had to unplug and reconnect it multiple times.‱Fireplace hazard: When on, the fireplace heated up the TV and sound bar, making it unusable.‱Plumbing problems: The half bath toilet didn’t flush.‱Water purifier: It needed replacing, as the filtered water wasn’t usable.‱Trash bins: The trash bins in the garage hadn’t been emptied, leaving a strong smell by the end of our trip.‱Jacuzzi issues: The automatic pump splashed water, causing the water level to drop significantly by Day 4.‱Moldy smell in the basement: This was the biggest drawback. The smell was so strong that we couldn’t use the space, which was disappointing. Thankfully, two of our guests didn’t make the trip, so we didn’t need to rely on the sofa bed in the basement.While the location and amenities had potential, these maintenance issues significantly impacted our experience.

The place was ok. It was a good half mile walk to the beach which was more than expected. The condo has seen better days in the wear and tear dept. Overall, the area was quiet and the condo was well stocked with must need items.

Calafia Beach Getaway

Bright, clean and modern. Well stocked kitchen. Very comfortable beds. We enjoyed visiting with family on patio with a hot tub and grill. We will definitely stay here again!

Bright, airy and beautiful!

This is a lovely condo to stay in. It had everything we needed, including Jacuzzi on the deck. Gorgeous ocean view looking down the street to your right. The three bedrooms were very nicely appointed with high-end sheets and comforters. Beds were extremely comfy. The street we were on was surprisingly quiet. We walked to the bluff a few times over the weekend to enjoy the waves. we will definitely be back!

Life is near the Beach

Location, location, location! So awsome to be a super quick walk to the Beach and a quick drive downtown or to dana point and laguna beach. House was excellent and our family enjoyed grilling and hottubing on the patio. House was clean and spacious. Would definitely recommend. Thank you!!

Wonderful location

The communication was great from start to finish. I received emails and texts throughout the process and the stay to give me information and ensure that I didn't need any assistance locally. When I arrived, I had the codes for the door and the garage, so getting in was a snap. The garage was wide enough for 2 standard size cars and had some beach day items in it as well. The home was clean and well appointed (especially the kitchen). Each bedroom was nice, and the downstairs area could be a nice secluded spot for kids to play games and watch tv separate from the rest of the house. The area was within walking distance to ocean views, and the beach, and you could actually see the ocean (and sunsets) from the deck. The location was close to the freeway (5) and easy to get to San Diego or LA on a day trip (we did both). Would definitely stay again for the location, the amenities and the price.

Weekend getaway

Clean and comfortable place to stay for weekend getaway. The only complaint I would have is with the small bathrooms. Great deck and hot tub was a plus however it would not heat up enough due to low voltage hook up. You need to run hotub for 24 hours straight to get it heated to the proper temperature to enjoy.

Very nice, comfortable home

Just as described, very comfortable, very quiet neighborhood. We left the windows open at night and could hear the waves. It was nice to have the beach so close, the kids were able to get to the beach in minutes to start having fun. Would definitely rent again.

Beautiful place right by beach

This condo was very clean and the neighborhood was very quiet. The space was large for the 4 of us and the hot tub was just what we needed after a day of hiking. The decor was modern and beautiful. Highly recommend this place but if you are a late night partier- not for you. Sound travels as buildings are very close to one another. Neighbor yelled at us to take it inside when we were in hot tub around 10:30pm. Other than that it was a perfect stay.
