The location is good. I was able to walk the area and felt safe. The property itself is run down. There was no housekeeping service and the sink was possibly clogged since it took forever for the water to drain. The room I stayed in didn’t have WiFi it keep disconnecting and wouldn’t connect after many efforts.

Our stay here was amazing. The front office staff were friendly and welcoming. The location is perfect! So much around to see and do. The room was clean, beds were comfortable. The fridge and microwave were a nice feature to have when staying with your family. I was highly impressed with this hotel compared to the price

This place is gross. My wife took a shower when we arrived and after walking around barefoot for a few minutes she laid on the bed. I was blown away how black her feet were just from walking on the floor. The shower probably has never been cleaned because you can seee the pencil marks and grout residue from the installation. The house cleaners did not have mops. The manager did not care one bit, told me I can go somewhere else. I will be reporting them to the health department when I get back home.

If I hadnt been charged for this room I would have went somewhere else. This room was not clean. The bed shams were disgusting. There was dirt on the bottom of these. Like they were left in that condition for day maybe even weeks. The plug in fixtures were broken. The lock on my door was broken so I couldnt lock it of I tried. The calkong on the sink definitely had mold in it at some point. Let's get started on the bathroom. Dirty hand prints on the walls and by where the toiltpaper roll is on the wall. Looks like there were dirty finger trying to get some and they left those marks on the wall. I got this room because it said it was 10 minutes away from the Marine base. The advertisement is definitely false. These are not clean rooms or even look remotely close to any of those pictures I saw. Expedia do better for your customers and do not offer this hotel. I checked out a day early because I couldnt stay in a dirty room any longer. Not to mention they sent me a receipt this morning saying it was printed on the 12th around 1:30 pm.

I've stayed here before and it was always pleasant, however my recent stay was very noisy( children yelling early in the morning, but it is directly behind a school) and I left the room clean with everything turned off and they kept my deposit. I don't appreciate that. It was one of my hidden gems in San Diego but not anymore

Absolutely everything was horrible. We had 2 rooms and both rooms flooded with sewage water through the bathroom sink, bites all over our bodies from the beds , staff was absolutely horrible and did nothing about it.

I had to drive to a different hotel , expecting a refund from travelodge but was just notified via email they are against refunds and cancellations . I would not recommend

It’s okay, but dingy. I didn’t feel comfortable walking without my socks or using shower. Definitely doesn’t look like pics online. Very run down. The room we were in had so much patch up work done, the toilet wasn’t clean, hairs on pillows & in shower & top bed cover had stains, I requested a replacement and the replacement looked like a window curtain and had even more stains. Good thing I had brought a blanket and slept on top of that keeping all my clothes on & putting a T-shirt over the pillow. Shower has no pressure and tons of hard water build up on it. Furniture is old, door security lock was loose, and window curtains were falling down & aren’t very good. Bed is just a mattress on top of a cheap metal fram, so uncomfortable.

I am so glad that my stay here is over. I booked something cheap to see my brother graduating bootcamp so I wasn’t too worried cuz I wouldn’t be in the room much but what the heck. The maintenance guy was watering the plants like all day long my first night & i seen him wearing a Coleman moving company shirt so I assume that had something to do with him??? No parking at night due to the rented out parking lot & just overall a sketchy area. If I ever need to go to that part of San Diego again, I will be avoiding this place. Top it off… my mom’s door lock batteries died & they wanted them to stay in another room till the morning… had to fight with them because his medication was locked in their room. Water in the rooms took forever to heat up. They had to turn the boiler up. Good grief.
