I was not expecting an email 24 hrs before check in telling me that there was no front office staff (they call it contact-less check in) to let us in the building. After waiting outside for 15 minutes trying phone numbers (2nd one worked) I got a code for the front door. Once we got in, I had to download an app and create an account for the app to get my bluetooth key to get in. Not exactly the most convenient, unless all hotels do this and you are prepared. Talking to other patrons, I heard that they used to do a full spread, best breakfast in town. When I asked the hotel staff about it (via text because nobody was there), I got a response “Covid happened.” Isn’t Covid mostly behind us now?
