The location worked well as we were in San Jose to visit my niece who is in school at SJS. The property was 5 mins away from the university and centrally located to many tourist attractions, near grocery stores and restaurants. Great little kitchen and manicured back yard. The house is very clean, the towels are plush, the beds inside the house are comfortable and the owner, Gwen, is very responsive. Now here are some things for you to also consider when renting this house: Centrally located also means in a busy, high-traffic area. The location is adjacent to SAP Center and street closures for games/events affect the property. It's also near the airport and in the flight path with planes frequently overhead, but not late at night (thank goodness). Each bedroom has a digital lock with code so we were on alert to keep from locking ourselves out. The indoor bedrooms lack proper closets so if you like to unpack, you can use drawers to get organized. There are only 4 chairs at the dining room table so if your group is more than 4 you can opt to sit outside however the 6-seater patio table is missing a chair so it seats 5. All somewhat minor items for us as perspective is everything. However, I rely on these reviews when deciding to rent so thought I would share. We were glad to be near the University and other attractions and enjoyed our visit.
