Dieses Ferienhaus befindet sich am Strand und verfügt über einen Kinderspielplatz und Grillmöglichkeiten. Dieses Ferienhaus hat 3 Schlafzimmer und bietet dir einen kostenlosen WLAN-Internetzugang sowie ein Schlafsofa. Selbstversorger finden dank der Küche mit einem Kühlschrank, einem Ofen, einer Herdplatte und einer Mikrowelle alles vor, was sie zur Zubereitung leckerer Mahlzeiten benötigen. Die Reinigung erfolgt nur an bestimmten Tagen.

I suggest reading reviews so you know what to expect. As others have mentioned, Alan and Dorita were great but don't expect 3 or 4 course dinners. Enjoyed the tour of Mayan Ruins and cave tubing tour which was super convenient as picked up at house (4:30 AM ) and dropped off at night. It would have been helpful to have ice cube trays for the freezer, but bags of ice available to purchase at store. There was no stocked pantry, but you will not go hungry. Water cooler was great so we didn't need to buy bottled water.

Alan & Dorita were great but house wasn’t.
Alan met us promptly and anything we asked of him was done immediately. Dorita is a great cook and very nice to talk to. Their kids were very sweet & respectful. The house was not in great repair or furnished very well. There was a lack of drawers space, only a single comfortable porch chair, non- working lights, squeaky doors and poor quality incorrectly-fitting sheets. The pool and washer & dryer mentioned in ad did not exist. House water was not drinkable or usable even to brush teeth. There were not multiple kayaks. The beach in front of house was a never-ending project for Alan as the plastic trash and seaweed washed up constantly. Secret Beach (a very bumpy golf cart ride away) was the only decent place to go in water. It just wasn’t fun so we left early. .

Excellent hosts/beautiful grounds
We had a great time. Alan and Dorita were great hosts. The food was amazing. The house isn't as nice as it is in pictures but you need to keep in mind it's Belize. There is no pool access but we did not miss it. Beach time was good. We had issues with the golfcarts but Alan was very good about providing a different one to use. I know others who have been to San Pedro and they also have had issues with golf carts. There was only one kayak, the other one had missing parts so we used as a paddle board. Even though things didn't always go as planned. It was a great time. I would totally recommend this place. Just keep in mind it's more rustic than it looks online.

Belize getaway
The facility was very comfortable and it was made even more enjoyable by Alan and his wife Dorita who did the fabulous cooking. The location was bout 30 minutes drive by golf cart from the airport with part of the road paved and part not with many potholes. It was quite and relaxing. We took a trip to Abergris Key about 30 years ago and had fond memories of how downtown San Pedro was small and quaint but tourism has hit the island and our new memories are not nearly as fond as the first. Bumper to bumper golf carts with less than optimal roads did not make travel pleasurable.

A Fantastic Escape at Escape Away Harmony
My friends and I recently spent 8 incredible days at Escape Away Harmony, and it was nothing short of amazing. From the moment we arrived, Dorita and Allen made us feel completely at home. Dorita’s meals were delicious and well-prepared, adding a delightful local flavor to our stay. Allen was equally fantastic, taking care of everything from bringing fresh coconuts to keeping the beach and outdoor spaces clean. He went above and beyond to ensure we were comfortable and had everything we needed. Their two children were lovely and made the atmosphere even more welcoming. One of Allen's kids even took one of us fishing, which was such a memorable experience. The property was spotless, and every detail was thoughtfully managed. If you're looking for a beautiful, friendly, and relaxing getaway, Escape Away Harmony is the perfect place. Highly recommended due to the awesome caretakers.

10Yr anniversary Stay
My Wife and I just left the Escape away “Harmony Beach House” This was a wonderful retreat away from the every day hustle and grind of work. We got lucky and had the best staff helping us out. Alin, Jhony, and Dorita became family by the end of it. Dorita is one of the best cooks I’ve had, and she is better than just about every restaurant we ate at, on top of that Alin and Jhony gave us the lay of the land and the history of Belize. I would 100% stay there again however there is no pool, and there is no satellite TV so if you are coming here for that I would still encourage you to do so but also go a short 5 min up the road to the Hidden Jewel Boutique hotel. Pool and bar are open to the public and was just the right amount of time we needed.

Great Location and Hosts!
We had 9 total. Two families with 4 adults and 5 kids ages 12-17. Alan and Dorita made sure we were taken care of. We didn't have any meal request and just told Dorita to surprise us. We loved every meal and no complaints from the kids either. The house was clean and well kept. Great location with about an equal drive to Town or Secret Beach. We went to Secret Beach 3 times and we enjoyed the Waterpark area the best. Jose' made sure the beach was cleaned up each day and prepared a beach campfire for us a couple of nights. He also took us out snorkeling to a couple nearby spots and around the docks. Space was limited inside with 9 of us but we had great weather and spent most of our time at the beach. There is a great little convenient/wine store called the Winey Gringa that we went to for ice/drinks/snacks as well as a couple restaurants about a 1/2 mile North. We had a great time and I highly recommend staying here!

Great Family Get Away
All 9 of us (from 2 year old granddaughter to Grandparents) were comfortable in the house and any issues were quickly addressed by Allan and Dorita and family. Dorita is an excellent chef. We loved the entire family downstairs and our experiences snorkeling, Mayan Temple, and cave tubing. Would definitely visit again.

Girls Getaway
4 childhood friends meet up to celebrate 50 trips around the sun. This was our first trip to Belize and we were not disappointed. Alan met us at the airport with the golf cart and led us back to the house. On our arrival the beach was pristine white sand, despite the daily influx of Sargassum. After a long day, we were greeted by an amazing chicken curry that Dorita had waiting for us. Dorita and Alan are gems, providing amazing meals, recommendations and company. As four traveling mom’s we were pampered with the home cooked meals and NO dishes. One evening Alan treated us to fresh coconuts from the yard. We loved getting to meet their children and family dogs Conch and Laila. We did two excursions with No Worries. One was full day snorkel trip where we swam with sharks , saw a manatee and snorkeled the Hol Chan reef. We were picked up and dropped off from the dock a short beach walk from the home. For the second we went to Lamainai Mayan ruins and it was planned from pick up to drop off, including transfers and excellent guides. Secret Bach was our favorite spot where we spent 3 days hanging out in the crystal clear turquoise water. The house is perfectly situation half way between San Pedro town and secret beach. I read the negative reviews and cannot understand what the others were complaining about. I hope that I can return soon with my family and if I do, we will stay at Harmony House again.

While the listing is not accurate (no washer/dryer, no pool or spa), the hospitality and care of Alan and Dorita were life changing. The food was out of this world, and included 100% in the price, which I did not expect. They bent over backwards to ensure we had a wonderful time - and we certainly did. We will be returning!

Our family had a great time for the week. There were 5 of us staying in the house and it was very comfortable. Alan and Dorita took good care of us from the minute we arrived at the airport until we left. Dorita fixed delicious meals with something different each meal. We enjoyed talking with Alan and Dorita daily. They always coordinated our meal times with anything we had going on. The house location is fantastic. It is a short ride to Secret Beach and does not take long to drive into town. Overall, we had a wonderful time and hope to return again soon.

Incredible Belize trip for girlfriends!
We travelled to San Pedro for a 40th birthday celebratory trip with seven best girlfriends. We absolutely loved our stay at the house and all that San Pedro had to offer us - sun, sand, beaches, ocean and good food. Alin greeted us at the island airport and was already accommodating and welcoming. We stopped at a grocery store to pick-up any snacks, alcohol or supplementary supplies for our stay. Upon arrival at the house, Alin showed us our beach accommodation, and gave us his direct contact so we could reach out "24/7." His wife, Dorita was the incredible chef for our entire stay. And we ate like QUEENS! She easily accommodated a gluten, dairy and corn allergy without hesitation. The variety of food that was offered was amazing, and we felt we ate some traditional Belizean meals (FRY JACKS!). The house was great but Alin and Dorita truly made it a HOME for us. We truly loved everything about the trip, but if we could offer some constructive feedback. The accommodation listing mentions access to a "pool." We thought this pool was within walking distance of the house - it is not. We took the five minute golf cart ride to get to it. It was a nice spot but we learned a lot of nearby hotels offered a pool with a purchase of a drink at the bar. It's not 'part' of the listing. There was construction of the house next door - it didn't bother us much but could some people. The sea grass off the beach is normal and Alin worked VERY hard to clear it multiple times a day.

Wonderful getaway in Caribbean paradise
We had such a wonderful time, it was hard to go back to Colorado! There were three of us staying for 9 days. Alan picked us up and dropped us off at the Tropic Air terminal which is only 15 minutes from the house. Dorita, his wife, fixed us delicious meals daily with no repeats, also everything is fresh and homemade! The cuisine was local and just amazingly good. She does the dishes and the grocery shopping too! The house has three bedrooms and two bathrooms and feels very spacious. Everything was nice and clean. It is so nice to have Wi-Fi and you don’t need electrical converters, it’s just like in the US. Showers have nice hot water and good flow. We enjoyed talking with Alan and Dorita daily, they ask what time you would like each meal to coordinate with any excursions. Be sure to say hello to Laila and Conch! Very sweet family pups! Alan kept the beach groomed and had kayaks and paddle board ready. We used a golf cart to get into town for personal treats and beer for the beach. We used two tours with No Worries to see Altun Ha, cave tubing, Hol Chan reserve, Caye Caulker and shark ray alley. All a must see! Overall we were very impressed and would return!😊

Dorita really spoiled us by cooking for us:) Alan picked us up from the water taxi and dropped us off at the airport when we left. The golf cart was all we needed for transportation around the island. The house is not huge, but we spent most of our time outside on the deck or on the beach when we were there. We used the tandem kayaks a couple of times.

Wonderful retreat
We arrived at Tropic Air a little early and didn't realize it until we were through security, that they had put us on an earlier flight. I went on the VRBO website and contacted the Owner (Jerry). Within minutes he contacted Alan (Caretaker) and gave us his number to coordinate pick-up. We were at baggage claim and Alan texted us that he was there with our golf cart. Now that's a responsive host! When we arrived, the road in was a little iffy, but we found out after that Alan and Johnny are building a new road; the old road was along the beach. The property is wonderful: sandy beachfront, which Alan and Johnny are constantly raking. Alan and Dorita (Johnny, Jose and Alin) are great hosts and great caretakers. We took advice from other reviews and let Dorita plan our meals; we were not disappointed. The meals were delicious. It was a novel experience for us having a chef who shops, cooks and washes the dishes. We really enjoyed getting to know Alan and his family and did activities with them like fishing, pulling coconuts down and eating them. We will definitely be back. We stayed for 8 days but will be back for a longer stay next time. Jerry suggested using Mr. Hill for the excursions; I'm glad we did. He booked our excursions (some are his, but he also looked after the Blue Hole diving and others). When there were issues, Mr. Hill looked after all the rescheduling and informed Alan, who updated us. The weather was really great while we were there. Only one day with rain.

Very disappointed
We were disappointed with pretty much everything. We never wrote a review online but we sent manager a private email telling him some of the things that weren’t right and today we saw a review from feb 6 basically stating exactly what we found. This means our email fell on deaf ears. The family living there were very nice. We loved their dogs but don’t expect to lie in as they do bark from early morning. The menu was never discussed with us daily and we were given what they would eat so we literally had 2-3 breakfasts only there and preferred to eat out the rest of the time as their cleanliness and choice of food isn’t for everyone, no offense to them. If you like some form of tacos or burritos, breakfast, lunch and dinner it would be ok. The beach was terrible. Smell from tons of seaweed not cleaned up prevented us from using the beach at all. You couldn’t even get to the water for seaweed The mosquitoes and sand fleas were rampant due to piles and piles of seaweed everywhere. Golf cart very old and we actually had the wheel literally about to fall off one day and we were very fortunate for this to happen close to the house or this could have resulted in an accident. This was definitely the worst vacation we have ever had. We were hoping that the faults we addressed in sept 2023 would have been corrected and now we feel bad that we didn’t write an honest review online because I’m sure the person who wrote review feb 6 wouldn’t have gone We still love Belize

Beautiful beach getaway with awesome property caretakers!
The house was pretty much as described. The staff that lives onsite, Alan and Dorita, are INCREDIBLY helpful, kind, and they cooked DELICIOUS meals. They were very accommodating. I didn’t know until we got there that they stayed on site, but they quickly became friends with us and we enjoyed their company. It was really nice to have local guides as resources. We also did the Mayan ruins and cave tubing and it was totally worth it. We stayed for 6 days and it was GREAT! Would definitely stay again, but only if Alan and Dorita are the caretakers/chef.
