My wife and I booked a quick little weekend getaway. The house was very nice and was very clean. The issues we had was there is absolutely zero cell signal where we were. To get a text or make a call you had to walk to the road. The wifi was horrible due to it only being a booster and not a router. With kids at home with their grandparents we needed to be able to get in contact. Also when you run both TVs off of network based programs( Netflix, Hulu, youtubetv, etc) and don’t have cable you need a wifi signal. The tv volume downstairs also didn’t work so there was zero sound. We called the after hours help desk as soon as we got there and they said they would send a maintenance man the next morning. There was nothing he could do to fix it but he tried anyway. The help desk said since it was the weekend they would have someone come check it out Monday.(Our departure date) We asked to be moved and were told there were no one bedroom rentals available. We then asked to be refunded and we would just leave because we just couldn’t stay without phone signal to our children and families in case of an emergency. We were offered about 10% of our total cost after dealing with this issue the one day we had been there and were told we were lucky to be offered that. We declined the small offer and packed up and went home. It was a very bad experience and I will never rent from Blue Swell again. Also the bed is super firm, the pillows are garbage, and be ready to wake up at 7am when the sun comes up.
