We traveled to the property last week and overall our experience was positive. The kitchen was very well stocked with all supplies needed to cook in the house. The outdoor area was also nice to be able to sit by the fire at night. I would say the house is not super kid friendly, but it is hard to know this by the listing alone. It shares a parking lot with The Southerner, so when the restaurant is open it is crowded around the home with cars parking anywhere they can. Being an older home (original structure built in 1800’s) had some normal leveling issues with flooring due to the old planks. Just made for some walkability issues with small children. The house is also just next to the road, so the outdoor area faces the road which was overall fine, but could be a little noisy at times. The bedrooms upstairs all have AC units, so in summer time it would be warm, especially at front of the house. We did face one issue while there with water leaking down to the first floor from the front bedroom shower. Decided not to use that shower going forward. The management company was prompt in responding, but we did not see anyone come out to look at it while we were there (perhaps they came after we checked out). I would say the pictures make the house look sparkling, but it is an older home, so the age shows once inside/out looking at it. Overall, the company was easy to work with, and we had no lack of communication. While it might not be perfect for small children, the house more than functions for an adult getaway.
