For the amount of money for one night, pay to park, and expensive breakfast I was disappointed. The staff was AMAZING, but our rooms were hot and the AC was not working properly or if it all. Room temp stayed around 75. We did tell staff and nothing was offered.

The hotel was packed with a convention and really no way to access the bar or restaurant area. The first room we had was terribly musty and moldy smelling, my wife couldn’t even breathe in there. Unacceptable for a Marriott at this price point. They did find another room which was better but not clean smelling at all. It was a hassle to move all our stuff and there was no offer to have a bellman help. Location was nice. Parking was high at $40 considering the room rate.

Savannah Weekend Getaway
Overall, our stay was enjoyable. Only complaint is that you can hear every little noise from the hallway or the next door. Otherwise this hotel is beautiful, right off the river and walkable to River Street. Will definitely be back!

Great place to stay in Savannah. Plenty of self parking, and not needed to valet. It was cool to see a barge ship in the river going right by my room. Hotel is right off the river walk as the name would suggest so, easy to get downtown.
