The proper manager was quick to respond, courteous, & friendly. The cabin was absolutely gorgeous. It was very spacious and decorated adorably. The game room was a major crowd pleaser. We spent a lot of time in there (unfortunately it rained the entire time we were there). We all loved the cabin and would consider staying again. The minuses are that it’s not soundproof. You could hear everyone moving around from the bottom floor to the third floor which makes trying to go to sleep a little difficult. Whoever does the cleaning needs to up their game. We had a decided to cook a Saturday family meal. All burners on the stove were dirty, with grease in every burner pan, so I had to clean them, not ideal for a weekend getaway. Most of the utensils were greasy or had small bits food on them. I’m assuming the food was a dishwasher issue, but nonetheless, not good. When we went to load the dishwasher as requested it was full and had to unload before we could load our dishes. My daughter & her husband found hair and fuzz their tub, so they didn’t use it. The rest of the place was pretty clean. We really didn’t have a view of the lake because the trees had grown so much there was only one small area to see the lake. That was a bummer. We were going to go kayaking, but instead of two kayaks there was only one so we didn’t do that either. Seclusion, privacy, peaceful, family time, it was great.
