Reserving the villa was a breeze, with Connie communicating regularly about the process and property. It was clear she wanted us to enjoy our stay. In fact, she had new silicone cooking utensils sent to the villa to replace the black plastic utensils, for the safety of her guests. The villa is well-appointed and well-situated, with beautiful views day and night. Of note, it was the most impeccably clean rental we have encountered. Our time there was relaxing and delightful. Happy Place II
We had a great time for 2 weeks. Lots of great weather and wildlife observations. Deer, dolphins, lots of birds, and even an alligator (floating in a golf pond) we don't see where we live. We experienced a major problem this year; the battery on the combo door lock died out and we were locked out of the condo. Not to worry! Connie answered our call on the first ring and we were back in the condo in a couple of hours. God willing we'll be back next year.

Awesome Vacation at the beach
This is our second visit to this property and it was as good if not better than the first. We will definitely vacation here many more times. The location is perfect. Sunsets from the deck are crazy beautiful and walking on the beach to watch the dolphins feed is something we will never forget. Highly recommend getting bikes to ride on the beach.

Beautiful 2nd floor views of the water, sunset and beach. Stunning artwork throughout. Very clean. I liked the tile flooring, attractive and easy to clean. My husband prefers the warmth of carpeted floors. The heating system is noisy but worked well. Washer, dryer, dishwasher, toaster and fridge worked well. Melitta coffee maker worked ok, may need a replacement soon. Lots of cleaners provided. Vacuum worked well. Lots of beach chairs provided. The binoculars were a nice touch. Easy boardwalk access to beach. Hangars provided. Cooking utensils were ample. Very clean villa.

Condo was very nice, enjoyed walking on the beach and watching the sunsets. Did have an issue with roofers and their pallets of materials. We could not park in the parking places nearest the condo for the trucks, trailers, etc. Also my car was hit and damaged during the time we were there. Suspect it was the roofers but no way to confirm that.

We have vacationed at Pelican Watch for years. This is the first time in this villa. It was the most comfortable and accommodating one I have stayed in. The owner was very thoughtful with little touches such as night lights in both bathrooms, supplies that we didn't use, but were glad to know they were there, the kitchen was amazingly well stocked with dishes and cooking utensils. I had trouble checking in, but was completely my fault. I couldn't find the key pad, but I didn't open the screen door to look:) I can't recommend this unit enough.

Why am I telling you this?
This is our second year in a row renting this condo. Why? I don't know. First off, it's super clean and comfortable. The white tile floor throughout is a plus because it was spotless when we arrived and was easy to keep sand-less with a little vacuuming. The attention to detail is impressive. From the instructions on how to use the WiFi to the beach toys in one of the closets, it's clear that the hosts are thinking about their renters and want them to have a nice time. Finally, although it's in the middle building the view from the deck is excellent. We had breakfast on it every single morning. In short, forget about it. Especially in June, that's when we'll want to book again, next year!

Absolutely perfect!
I highly recommend this property! It is exactly as described, if not better. For me, the view is a priority and this one is excellent. You see the dunes and the water but not the beach, which makes it feel very secluded. The sun sets directly over the water in front of you, very beautiful all of our stay. The property is clean and comes with basic stuff you would need to cook. We chose to dine out but the kitchen is spacious enough to prepare meals if you wanted. There are lots of nearby dining options, both in the club (using the provided amenities card) and out.. Just so you know, the bed is very comfortable and the air conditioning was perfect. Plenty of hot water with excellent water pressure. As far as “what to do”: So many things to choose from! We don’t golf or bike so for us it was all about relaxing in the sun, reading, walking, and watching birds and dolphins. Next time we will stay longer and see more of the area (historical or nature tours). These hosts go out of the way to make your getaway a good experience. The instructions were detailed and spot on! A week prior to our trip, I had a question for the hostess and she was prompt with a reply. She made me feel confident that our trip would be wonderful- and it was!

The property felt like home on the beach. We rented bikes and with just a quick walk were on the beach at low tide between boardwalk 1 and 2 watching the dolphins. This is definitely a repeat vacation for us.

Fantastic way to LIVE in the NATURE of the Island
this place was perfect for my husband and i to immerse ourselves in Nature! we woke up to the sunrise after walking to the east side of the island and we watched the sunset right out back of the condo. We saw dolphins every morning very close to us, pelicans, deer, lizards, jelly fish! Connie keeps the place so clean and it’s easy to get in and out. Thank you Connie. We love your little piece of paradise and feel honored to have experienced it for a few days. i also brought my yoga mat and did yoga on the porch everyday. it was perfect!
