I had problems with my credit card and all of a sudden I was treated like a criminal after a flight from Europe and not let onto my room although my partner was checking in just an hour after me with payment… I was treated extremely disrespectfully and talked down to, just because I couldn’t secure my credit card there and then. I had to wait in the lodge till my partner arrived after an hour to check us in. The manager Simon was very rude and his younger manager lady was even worse. Fortunately the ladies the next day were very nice. I wished I’d have met them the night before. Then I’d have not have to talk about those two terrible night managers.

Only negative was that the room description specified a combination tub/shower, and our room had only a shower. We prefer to be able to soak in a tub. We’re too tired to check if other rooms had tubs, but if this is important to you, check that in advance.
