Janet and Jon have obviously made this property a priority. It is done so well! Things we liked especially:
- location. Sedona was a zoo, and we literally sighed as we got away from town and out into the rolling hills of Cornville. It’s peaceful, spacious and private. All of our activities were with 25 minutes of where we stayed.
- privacy. I only met Jon because he was coming around to test the hot tub chemicals (they first asked permission to come around to the outside back porch), and I wanted to compliment him on the work work inside. Otherwise, we felt like we were the owners of the land. They provide you a garage door remote, so you pull the car in the garage like it’s yours!
- comfortable vibe. Janet had an eye for color and hospitality. The place was lovely, but unpretentious. Furniture was comfortable. All the necessary items were in place and in good condition. We cooked all our meals at “home”, and we had everything we needed (including a ice gas grill).
- hot tub! We hiked our legs off, so coming home to the hot tub was a godsend. You’re outside, under the upstairs deck, and you’re looking out across the wide expanse of the verse valley, with mountains in the background. ‘Nuff said!
- communication. Janet was proactive in her communication. They clearly want to build a good reputation in the vacation rental business, and so they’re spot on with all the necessary information you need before you need it. And they genuinely want to know how they can improve their service, because they’re just a year into this process. Bottom line: they genuinely care about the quality of your stay. We had no issues over our four night stay, but if we did, I know they would have been on it!
