Rustikale Schönheit im Canyon

Diese rustikale Hütte im Lodge-Stil öffnete sich durch riesige Fenster zu Wald- und Canyonwänden und wurde mit vielen der vorhandenen Bäume und lokalen Steinen maßgefertigt. Ein großer Kamin ist der Mittelpunkt des offenen großen Raumes, in dem die Gourmetküche und der Bauerntisch zugänglich sind. Es gibt ein großes Hauptschlafzimmer und ein eigenes Bad im Erdgeschoss sowie zwei Schlafzimmer, ein Bad und einen schönen Dachboden im Obergeschoss, der zum Zusammenrollen mit einem Buch oder zum Ansehen von Filmen aus unserer großen Sammlung bestimmt ist.

Draußen gibt es eine Terrasse mit Essbereich Lounges und einen Grill. Im seitlichen Garten befindet sich ein großer Bauerntisch, an dem Sie im Freien speisen können.

Dieses ruhige und charmante historische Viertel mit Hütten wurde 1948 gegründet. Es ist eingebettet zwischen Oak Creek auf der einen Seite und dem Coconino National Forest auf der anderen Seite mit wunderschönen Wanderwegen direkt vor der Tür.

Der Oak Creek Canyon ist bekannt für seine raue Schönheit und die atemberaubenden roten Felsen. Das Herz der Restaurants, Galerien und Geschäfte von Sedona liegt 19 km südlich der Hütte und Flagstaff, das Tor zum Grand Canyon, 19 km nördlich.

Die Temperatur in der Kabine ist 10 Grad kühler als in Sedona, was es im Sommer kühl und angenehm macht.

Friends Weekend

This cabin is in the perfect spot between Sedona and Flagstaff. We were able to travel to both areas with ease, had an amazing breakfast at Indian Garden Market, and enjoy a few homemade meals in the cabin. Such a wonderful homey place to enjoy our time with friends. I would definitely stay here agin for a longer stay.

Charming Canyon Retreat

My wife and I along with our oldest son and daughter in law had the recent privilege of staying in this quaint cabin. The property is just how it appears online and communication with the property manager was a delight. We thoroughly enjoyed the surrounding area that Oak Creek has to offer and the cabin was a welcoming sight at day's end. Warm fires along with great home cooked meals were the highlight. Rustic Oak Creek Canyon

Overall, the property was very nice if a bit on the rustic side. It would have been nice to have a shower in the primary suite. Lots of woody charm, but the furniture, particularly the dining room chairs would stick to the floor. Some of the cobwebs should have been dusted away and more or brighter light for evening reading. We enjoyed it very much, a cabin in the in the cool AZ woods with lots of fun stuff to do nearby.

Spring Break 2024

We had a wonderful stay! The location was fantastic - just a short drive to Sedona and hiking trails. The cabin itself was exactly as pictured, very clean and comfortable. We especially loved the fireplace which kept us warm and cozy on chilly evenings. Overall, this was a perfect place to relax and enjoy the outdoors. Family Getaway

We had a wonderful visit at the house in the canyon. We cooked, baked, played games, and played in the water. One enjoyable surprise was the community activity at the outdoor chapel next door to the property. What fun! We also went and had breakfast at one of the places that Deborah recommended. familiar place

I grew up in Pine Flats and love it up there. The cabin was in a perfect location for me. The deck on the back was great to sit on day or night. We took walks down to the creek and around the area. Lots of activity going on at the community/church center for the 4th of July! So happy that we were able to enjoy time with my grandkids and my daughter. Looking forward to going again.

Charming home in a great location

This place was conveniently located halfway between Flagstaff and Sedona which made it easy to do day trips in either direction. The home itself is as beautiful as the pictures and was nice and clean when we got there. Plenty of cozy places to gather, inside and outside. The kitchen was well appointed with everything we needed, including some pantry items that made cooking more convenient (e.g. cooking spray, pancake syrup). We were a little disappointed that the dressers didn't appear to be all that functional so we left our stuff in our suitcases. Additionally, the handle for adjusting the water temp/flow for the upstairs shower seemed to be missing, but the remaining mechanism still gave us control.

Healing Escape from the City

Deborah’s family cabin is decorated charmingly beautiful. The trees are gorgeous and provide the perfect escape from the city life. It’s so quiet and peaceful. Daily walks and hiking in the little neighborhood was just what the doctor ordered 😊! The beds were comfy and a full kitchen allowed us to cook all of our meals at the cabin. We drank the water straight from the tap and it was amazing! Thank you Deborah for another sweet family memory at your cabin!

Beautiful Chaos

The cottage is absolutely wonderful. We went with our 15 month old and 5 year old, which I wouldn't recommend. We struggled with our kiddo just learning to walk and wanting to grab everything off tables. We went march 20th and it was unfortunately very rainy and the road was flooded. Our host was great with reassuring us the cottage was safe from flood and was very generous and let us take the pac n play to Phoenix when we decided to leave Sedona early due to the rain and stay in a hotel. The house has everything you could ever need and I would recommend this place for a beautiful getaway. The views are priceless and Deborah is a very sweet lady.

Winter Anniversary Getaway

This was a lovely cabin to spend a quiet long February weekend. We especially enjoyed the snow during the day and the fireplace in the evening. Debbie was such a gracious hostess and let us know that due to the weather conditions we may need all-wheel drive/4x4/chains to get into the neighborhood. Location is out of town but close enough for us to enjoy some tasty dining in Sedona. We would recommend this property for anyone looking for peace, quiet, and comfort.

Another great winter getaway!

This was our second time staying at the cabin, and we absolutely loved it once again. We had 5 adults, a 4 year old and a 1.5 year old, and it was a perfect fit for our family to celebrate an early Christmas together. The owners were extremely helpful and responsive, the cabin was well stocked and organized, and we had a wonderful time. Highly recommend this spot!

This was a great home base located in between Flagstaff and Sedona. The home is located in a secluded area close to trails and lots of stuff to do! My family had a blast! This home is a must stay if you are in the Sedona area!

My family and I completely enjoyed our time in the cabin!! The property was exactly what was advertised in the listing. Do keep in mind, there is no TV though there are tons of videos to watch. There is internet but it is not very strong all of the time, Deborah does mention this - it’s because of the canyon, which makes this a perfect get away from WFH!!! There are cafes that you can go to that have very strong WiFi. Being almost exactly between Flagstaff and Sedona gave us many options for things to do and place to eat (though eating in was great as well bc the kitchen had everything needed).The drive into Sedona just took my breath away every time! Deborah gave the suggestion of visiting Jerome - we were so glad we got to go there; why a treat! We all wholeheartedly recommend staying here!
