Wonderful, quiet area with majestic mountain views and the sound of the river nearby. We only had three in our group, but the cabin has plenty of room for four adults and 2-3 kids to sleep comfortably. The decor is cabin cozy and the bath tubs are wonderful with soothing jacuzzi jets that are nice after a long day of sightseeing or hiking. The hot tub and pool table were nice bonuses, and we had fun using both. The only drawback to this cabin is the kitchen, which needs to be completely updated with new appliances. The property manager informed us the dishwasher wasn't working, but was kind enough to bring us paper plates and plastic cups. We didn't cook anything except breakfast every morning, so it wasn't a problem. The stove and the refrigerator need to be replaced as well, as the fridge is missing two shelves and the stove has tin foil around the burners and looks very old. The coffee pot was also not working, but the property manager brought a new one the same day we told her about it. Overall, with new appliances this cabin would be absolutely perfect! With three levels and two outdoor porches, you can have coffee or eat breakfast or dinner outside. There's also a wooden porch swing and a hammock. There were a few other cabins on the same road, but they are spaced out so that you can't see them or really hear anyone else, so it seems like you have your own private spot on the mountain. Best of all, it was an easy 10-15 minute trip to Gatlinburg on the Parkway, so it wasn't a problem to go there or a little bit further to Pigeon Forge every day. We would recommend this cabin to anyone looking to get away from it all and enjoy the beautiful area.
