Can a place be both modern and rustic at the same time? =) This is such a cool property, amazing view from inside and out, all the comforts you hope for when away from home - great sleeping space, pellet stove was unique, electric kettle for coffee and on-demand hot water in the shower. (Awesome.) This place is great. The only downside is we could only book for 3 nights b/c it was already reserved - I think we would have loved to be here 5 or more. Easily accessible to trails and downtown Seward. You’ll arrive most likely from Seward and the 2 mile road is gravel/dirt. Circle past the campground and RV area and the houses are tucked back in the trees. There are 2 new cottages that are in front but to the outsides of the blue & red door cabins. We stayed in the blue door and loved sitting out on the porch for hours after dinner and watching the mountains and water, eagles, etc. Highly recommend and hope we can stay here again.
