We attempted accessing the property in the month of late January 2024 where there were no plowed icy/ slush roads up to the property. It took us 6 hours in total to access the property. We could only drive our well equipped truck with snow tires half way with the help of a trucker who kindly provided us with salt. This took 4 hours. We got stuck in 2 snow banks on the way up Spencer Lane (100+ meter) road, to the property (only 1 way up) where we then knew it was too unsafe to continue and we’re spinning out. We had to walk 12 pairs of skiis and 10 duffel bags up to the property by foot in the dark, taking us 2 hours. By the time we reached the top it took 3 steep flights of steps down to the side door. Although our experience itself didn’t concern property owner, there was no transparency on the lack of accessibility by car. The upstairs tenants staying as guests did not drive and therefore did not have the same brutal experience we did. We called and were kind asking for a resolution in the form of a refund due to this lack of accessibility, and needed to leave due to these safety concerns up and down the Lane to Silverstar road. The vacation rental Managers (Nomadics) we’re only giving us options that served their needs including cancelling in hopes of having another renter fill the days contingent on finding some other renters. Several emails back and forth did not address our concern of unsafe accessibility in the winter months. No one should take 6 hours to assess
