This was our first time visiting Solitude which is unlike any ski area I've ever visited. The 'Village' is tiny so you must bring plenty of food before you make the trek from SLC. There are two off-mountain restaurant options, one of which is essentially inedible. We wish we would have been better prepared.
That said, the access to the mountain from the condo was great, very easy. The condo was spacious and clean and equipped with everything we needed to be comfortable. The hot tub, pool and game area are easily accessible. If you have kids, especially little ones, this is a great mountain/resort as it's very manageable.
