First, the great: Solitude is such a fun mountain, and this spot fit a large group of us really nicely, all within a short walk to the lifts. The living room + kitchen is beautiful, incredible views, lots of light.
The bummers: the hot tub shouldn't be included in this listing -- it's a very long walk and part of a different location. We looked once on the way back from skiing and it was packed with residents of that location. We never found a grill, though maybe it's by the hot tub (again, down in the village and far from the unit. The kitchen was hilariously poorly appointed: not a single measuring spoon for example, one measuring cup with all of the measurements rubbed off. Every thermostat had a warning that you couldn't turn it up above 50. Overall, gave off the vibe that no one has ever lived here.
Communication was tough -- I tried calling the phone line many times and only one time got an answer during the listed hours. VRBO messaging worked well, but it was a different person each time.
Hopefully by the time some of this has been resolved. If so, recommended! We're definitely excited to return to solitude at some point.
