This house is a lovely and convenient place to stay, especially if you're traveling with your furry family. Its proximity to town makes it easy to walk to and from, and I felt completely safe walking alone. However, it's important to note that the house has limited privacy due to the lack of curtains/blinds/drapes. In fact, the existing drapes are quite sheer, making it feel like a "fishbowl." To address this, we had to get creative and hang a towel from the curtain rod in the master bathroom to maintain our privacy from the neighboring homes, which are quite close by (just a one-car driveway away). Additionally, the upstairs bathroom has no window coverings at all. Despite this, the house is still a great option for those who value convenience and a comfortable to stay.
One area for improvement in the listing is the lack of clarity on what amenities are provided, making it difficult to know what to bring and what to leave behind. I did reach out to the host for clarification, but unfortunately, the response came too late for me to adjust my packing accordingly as I was 1/2 way to NC from PA. For future reference, the property provides the following essentials: shampoo, conditioner, body wash, laundry pods (3), dishwasher pods (3), garbage bags (3), paper towels (1 roll), and toilet paper (2 rolls per bathroom). However, guests should note that they need to bring their own coffee (no Keurig) and kitchen products. The outside garbage needs to be emptied between rentals.
