The location of the house is remote and quiet with lovely views, while still near the small town of San Rocco a Pilli. There are several restaurants, a store and bakery there.
The challenge was finding the house, as the host is not a great communicator (but his wife is lovely!)
We really wanted to stay here due to the spa (hot tub) that was listed, but it never got hot (there is no cover, so no way to get it hot) and only a few jets worked, so that was very disappointing.
The kitchen was well stocked for cooking, but no supplies except sugar, salt and olive oil. So you need to buy all supplies. We had a cooking lesson and there was plenty of room for 6 of us.
There are three bathrooms, one on each floor The downstairs one has a shower in the corner, but it works fine. Two bedrooms are upstairs with queen beds (comfortable) and a bathroom with shower and tub in between them. The third floor has 2 futons with a bathroom with a toilet and sink. (Good place for kids!)
Overall it was a great house, but the host is a challenge. Luckily his wife is welcoming and engaging.
