Cold
Cold shower, no heating in room . Thought room on timer as in annexe but was cold .as only there for one night didn't report till check out. Disappointing as room decor lovely

Great 3* hotel
Had a overnight stay and really enjoyed the hotel.
Food was good staff were attentive and overal a very pleasant experience

Study week
The hotel was only a short walk from the University which was really good. The staff were fantastic and I'm sure if I had a room over looking the sea as many of them do then it would of been even more of a magical break from reality. Really enjoyed my time at this hotel, however £13.50 for breakfast was incredibly steap, yet the restaurant was decently priced and great quality for dinner and tea times. It was a very warm and welcoming hotel with great people behind the scenes the room was decorated to a high standard, tea and coffee making facilities and a decent flat screen tv but only free view, for the cost of the room I would of like some form of cable tv. The free internet service was great and had no issues nor was it slow. A wider selection for room service would be nice, there was much on that menu, however I'm sure you would be allowed to order from the restaurant and take your plate to your room, they were fine with me taking drinks up stairs from the bar. I would love to go back the next few times I go but unfortunately only can afford it during Janurary. It is rather pricey, however it is pretty much on top of the Golf course and over looks the sea so I suppose you pay for what you yet locally around you.

romantic birthday weekend
We arrived 30 mins early. Receptionist said it wasn't a problem and booked us in. Room lovely. Tartan theme in room. Clean & comfortable.
We returned at 9pm and asked for drinks in our room.. this was done promptly with no fuss.
We hadn't booked breakfast so staff told us where 2 go locally for a breakfast instead.
Great weekend apart from the rain & wind
