Pretty new property in an emerging area of St Augustine beach. Take advantage of the low cost as it’s clearly going to rocket in this neighborhood. Really nice Hyatt Place property.

We had the chance for a quick getaway and couldn’t have been happier with this choice. The hotel was designed with Vilano’s art deco style in mind. The room was clean and spacious. Everyone we encountered on property was friendly and helpful. The weather wasn’t great so Saturday night when we hoped to enjoy Pesca on the rooftop, we ended up eating at the bar in the lobby, but still had great food and cocktails, without the wind and rain. The one downside is that our room was right underneath the rooftop bar/restaurant so we could hear the band playing but thankfully we fall asleep pretty easily so it wasn’t that big of a deal. I could see some guests getting upset by that. We will definitely stay at this hotel for our next visit to Vilano.

Tossed out with hurricane approaching
With a hurricane approaching the opposite coast of Florida, we were thrown out. Everyone was thrown out to fend for themselves with the hurricane approaching the evening of them, tossing us out when you had a question for front desk you were ask would you like to check out when Holiday Inn directly across the street stayed open the whole time, and you could see rooms were lit up in the Hyatt place did not have TV. Our whole stay was told maintenance forgot to reboot it stress very nerve-racking as I said, they did nothing to accommodate us with category five hurricane approaching the opposite coast of Florida.

Great service.
The hotel was beautiful, felt very luxurious. Only issue we had was the air conditioner in our room was dripping and it kept us up. Called down to the front desk and they immediately switched our room for us. Valet was very friendly and quick.
