“Amazing! Pet-friendly. We came with our two big dogs, and they had a great time. The staff was friendly, the hotel was clean in every way, and it’s surrounded by nice restaurants. Plus, it’s just a few minutes over the bridge to downtown St. Augustine!”

Unfortunately, the first two rooms assigned to us were dirty. After each trip to the room and back to the front desk, the staff member DID apologize. BUT, it was merely words without any emotion. The 3rd room was clean and very average. The property is in a desperate need for renovation. The best part was convenience and ease of parking.

Maybe Somewhere Else Next Time!
Got to tell you, we travel. A lot! From the beginning this hotel experience was just ho-hum! Staff tried but just wasn’t there. Check-in, 3PM, and they weren’t quite sure rooms were available. Quickly got us into the room we reserved. Shortly after, we realized the occupants of that room had a small dog and had left it alone in the room. It barked constantly and wanted OUT! Listen, I love dogs, in fact I have a 100lb GSD; a Service Dog who usually goes everywhere I do. This trip, he stayed with family because I wouldn’t be going anywhere alone. If you check into a hotel with your pet, do NOT leave it alone in your room! Hotel staff moved us to another room, an upgrade. But, things just didn’t get better. They issue tickets for breakfast but didn’t serve breakfast the next morning or the morning after. We did get breakfast on our last morning and it was all right. Not a proper breakfast but a breakfast croissant and some potatoes. I’m/we’re not grumpy or mad; just terribly disappointed that this IHG property didn’t live up to expectations. The overall experience was just so so and a let down. They have so much potential in this city and location. I’m not trying to slam this property; I’m trying to provide positive feedback to help them improve. All in all, it was a quaint property with so much potential. They just haven’t realized that potential yet!

One of the dirtiest hotels I’ve ever stayed in. They moved our room three different times and still it was disgusting. Even tried to put us in someone else’s room and didn’t realize it was occupied. The staff continued to speak poorly about one another and point fingers to why our stay was so poor. Do not believe the pics you see online! Stay anywhere else.

The front desk service was very friendly and accommodating whenever I had a question or needed something. The breakfasts were very good and the room was spacious, comfortable and very clean. The location is also excellent, very convenient to everywhere, walking distance to Bridge of Lions and downtown historic Mission district

Stay was fine, decent place at a decent price. At checkin, the staff member made a comment about booking using a 3rd party, saying he wished we hadn’t done that. We laughed and said just don’t charge us twice. He assured us he wouldn’t. At checkout they said we didn’t owe anything. 2 days later they charged me for the room again. I’ve spent hours on the phone trying to get a refund with no success, they’ve even hung up on me when calling the front desk. Cannot recommend this property. Great location, awful unhelpful staff.

We have stayed here several times. The location is good if you don’t mind a walk to downtown. Staff has always been very friendly. This time the guy who checked us in wasn’t rude but wasn’t the friendliest either. All in all - a good clean place to stay!

We selected this hotel because it had a bar and restaurant. When we arrived, we were told the bar was not open because the bartender had quit. This should have been on the site. When we asked if we could get a glass of wine the hotel receptionist tried but there was a very limited selection of wine. No Pinot Grigio, no Chardonnay. Terrible experience. will not recommend.
