Cara Mia lived up to everything we expected. The house had 3 separate bedrooms that allowed privacy for our adult children. Would also be great for 3 couples. The view & breeze from the pool deck was amazing and the living area inside was comfortable for watching the Olympics or movie in the evening

Friends Vacation
The 4 of us ( 2 couples) stayed at Cara Mia from 1/20/24 to 1/27/24 and were thrilled with everything about this “classy” home. We’ve been visiting the USVI for several years and this home is undoubtedly a top favorite! The home is furnished beautifully, the design is spectacular, the east facing pool area is exceptional and the location is just far enough from Cruz Bay yet close to all the north shore beaches…..the best of all worlds. We cant say enough about the construction quality as well as the floor plan. Well done….views, convenience, privacy as well as perfect meeting spaces for meals and an occasional peek at the TV for an NFL playoff game or the Australian Open. The Food basket surprise from the owners was much appreciated as we arrived late and were starving. Other nice touches/conveniences included the new beach towels, beach chairs (6), coolers (2), ice packs, gas grill, poolside lounge chairs with cushions and modern snorkel equipment (2). Everything was top quality….exactly what we expected and were not disappointed! Greatly appreciated the support of both Eric and Beth from James Miller property management whose communications were spot-on and were professional in every regard.

Excellent property
Stayed at Cara Mia for the first time. The property was beautiful. Obviously the owner cares about the property and invests in it. New furniture. Everything was spotless. Met by property manager who explained everything to us. Very hospitable. The island had a temporary power outage. Owner called to apologize (obviously not his fault). They were very generous in trying to make it up to us. You can tell when you stay somewhere and the owner is milking it for the rental income versus an owner who really cares. This one really cares. Great time. Highly recommend.

We enjoyed this home-away-from-home. Everything was clean and nice. Gorgeous views out of every window. It was great a having a pool there to relax in when we weren’t out at beaches. We appreciated the beach towels/ chairs/ coolers/ snorkel gear there, ready to use. We loved recommendations for grocery delivery and things to do. Overall, we had a wonderful stay and would definitely recommend this home to others.

Excellent Family Vacation at Cara Mia
We had the most wonderful week at Cara Mia. James and his family reached out a few days prior to our trip and guided us through our arrival on the island and check-in. Everything was timely and thorough and they included several thoughtful details to make our stay extra special. And the villa! It was clean and comfortable and beautiful! The location was just minutes from Cruz Bay yet quiet and private. We loved the pool and the patios, and everyone had their private en-suites for evening. Would definitely stay again.

Cara Mia was a beautiful Italian style villa in great location on St John!
Beautiful villa, the pool, deck, rooms, kitchen, and overall property were amazing! Hosts were excellent! Welcome basket of local foods and items were provided upon arrival. We found this to be a super convenient location to the main city/shopping area Cruz Bay, yet with easy access to the National Park and other beaches around the island! Will stay here again one day hopefully!

Cara Mia was so much more than we expected. It was a beautiful property in a quiet setting in the hills. Spectacular Views
Great set up for us and our adult children - privacy and a central gathering place. We spent most of the time outdoors and with the doors open to enjoy the breeze. Incredible views and quiet neighborhood. Close enough to everything but the roads can be treacherous. Kitchen is well appointed and the honor bar is a great idea - drink some of the alcohol others left behind and leave your extra behind. Beach towels, chairs and coolers were perfect for taking with on day trips to beaches. It would have been nice to know that we did not have access to the room safe before we arrived instead of two days later. Parts of the villa showed its age and could use updating or little repairs but overall it satisfied our needs.

Perfect place
Cara Mia is the perfect vacation house. With it's 2 suites away from the main house and the open kitchen / dining area it is easy to have privacy and time together as needed. It was easy to just hang out and not feel like we need to go anywhere. A beautiful well maintained piece of paradise.
